If FordPass is the only thing that doesn’t work, I’m perfectly fine with that. The 12” screen is a massive improvement and Sync4 is leaps and bounds snappier software + wireless CarPlay/android auto than sync3.

Yes, I did when I originally and later trying to get it to work. I was thinking maybe a Forscan setting was wrong. The sync3 would start to work again then the app would fail after swapping back to sync4.

I've had everything working nicely for months but FordPass app. I swapped my sync3 back and FP worked with no issues again, then reinstalled sync4 without luck. Has anyone solved this?

2021 Durango R/T... But my Maverick may be replaced or become a 2nd vehicle. I've test drove a few things but can't decide what to get.

You'll have to enable it with Forscan. Global Open and Close is what needs to be added.

I was trying to help you with your rear camera issue. Mine was the wires on the harness not being seated fully when I installed them on the harness. I didn't have the audio issues. Good luck on getting it sorted out.

I would check the two pins for the camera on the passthrough harness. They may not be fully seated properly. I am out of town for a few weeks or I'd post my Forscan settings for you.

Did you ever get everything working properly? I can't get the rear cam or my SiriusXM working.

I'm considering doing the same. The dealer near me has a few on the lot. What color is your Ranger Raptor? The only thing I don't like is the Black/Red seating. I'd love if they offered a Black/Blue or just all black.

I finished modifying my passthrough harness today. I took my time but it turned out great. Now to find some time to pull the truck apart to install everything and see if it works.

You'll need the items in the original post but instead the 12" screen so sync4 APIM, passthrough, power cable and the screen cable.

Only do it if you don't mind making additional years of payments or the vehicle has a lot more features then your current one

I bought my truck in April and would sell it if they gave me basically what I paid for it. I would get a Ranger or Lincoln Nautilus as my next vehicle. I haven't gone to a dealer but Carvana and other offers online keep going down.

I figured that would be the case. I have the larger screen to mount once my cables come. The 12” fits the opening better for retrofitting. With the larger screen, maybe later the MY25 dash piece will be available. I would relocate the radio controls even though I never use them just to have the...
