Make sure you get your 4" lift and 35's first. 🤣
Actually I makes me giggle every time I think about how it would sound to have the eCVT with a loud exhaust... Nothing to WAAAAAÀAAAAAAAAAAA!

Cannot be any CA people. The new laws there include a visual inspection meaning zero mods to factory system. Even if it meets CA emission levels.
Rules, we don't need no stinking rules.

Video works fine for me, but its nothing exciting just showing the catback.

You may not even need a muffler, just a resonator. The length of tubing, cat, and turbo themselves can muffle quite a bit.

Cheapest option would be to just cut out the last two proper mufflers and have your shop replace the now missing sections with a straight pipe. Probably get 95% of the benefit, some weight savings, and cool sound for a fraction of the cost.
The right way to do it is to mount a straight through (no baffles) resonator as close to the turbo as possible. It knocks down the vibration and NVH sooner and results in a cleaner sound and more power. The way to gain power is to open up the down pipe and get rid of the primary cat to increase flow. Past that you’re limited by the baby turbos limited air flow ability due to reduced size.

Careful.....there are some on this forum who will put big A/T tires on their FWD hybrid so.... 🙄
The hybrid has the torque to be an off-road BEAST! just need to add nitrous for the extra boost...

I can't find that law.
Take you car or truck to CA and try to register it.

They are pushing through new laws right now that would eliminate gas powered lawn mowers, chain saws and generatorrs. Yup all electric generators.

One of the newest is off road motorcycles built 2021 or later cannot be issued an off road permit.

Not for sound but for looks, I was wondering about duals coming out under the bumper; either straight or turn downs.
Was thinking one could cut the pipe somewhere after the middll muffler, insert a Y, go around spare, then out each side.
But it seems the cubby might be in the space, on the right, that the resonator is in (on the left).

I'm not in or from California. I do know when you get your annual smog check they will check tuners and modified exhaust. I really don't know model year it's effective.
Obviously would not pertain to a 1967 Mustang.

I pick up a lot from a forum based out of Arizona and California. Some are going as far as to form an LLC and lease their car / truck to themselves with out of state plates.

I suppose looking at new smog regulations in California may supply more information.

Gotta say one thing “good” about that factory exhaust: The bends aren’t pinched like exhausts bent at your local muffler shop. Looks smooth flowing, albeit a small diameter.
my local exhaust shop has a computer controlled inside mandrel bender and does a TON of high end exhaust builds. also puts out great youtube videos "orange county muffler"

as a 20+ year automotive mechanic IN CALIFORNIA..........

new vehicles don't have an emissions check for 8 years from date of sale.

used vehicles smog every 2 years. vehicles older than 2000 go on dyno rollers, newer than 2000 use OBD2 port and a visual inspection

motorcycles dont smog.

the 2021 dirt bike laws are interesting, but mostly the same as whats currently going on and has been since 2004.

exhausts can be changed after the catalytic converter/2nd 02 sensor. anything past that doesn't have an effect on emissions, the under floor resonator, is just that a resonator, they do have a honeycomb interior, but its not a multi stage cat, I've cut many of em out.
