Dave, I was worried that an aftermarket exhaust would be lower than factory unless you used oval pipe. You think you can tuck it up tighter? Can’t wait to see it!

edit: video is working for me now. Maybe it takes a bit to render or something
Yes, there is a lot of room, even in 3" it won't be lower than it is now.

Seemed just fine to me when I drove the EB. Actually I could barely hear it. Not everyone wants their Maverick to sound like a tuba.

There is a mariachi band that is looking for a horn section 😂

Is the exhaust the same for the FWD only Maverick? The FWD version wouldn't have the driveshaft in the hump, so there would be room/more room for the exhaust.
The FWD is not going to be the same I don't think. We will need to get one in here.

OP is mistaken 🤷‍♀️ Rearmost oval can is a resonator. Large can under the fuel tank is a muffler. Circular can under the driver's feet is a catalyst.
There is no rear cat, if there was it would followed by an second 02 sensor.

Cannot be any CA people. The new laws there include a visual inspection meaning zero mods to factory system. Even if it meets CA emission levels.

I don't see what's so horrible about it really. Just looks like a plain old factory exhaust.

The blue paint is by the bolt/nut I suspect that my exhaust hits when I go over a speed bump. There is a lot of give with the rubber mounts.

Ford Maverick Buschur's video of horrible factory Maverick exhaust design. Improvements to be gained opening system up 20211026_172633

I am glad there is a nice place in the door for a bottle thought. Heard million videos about the bottle genius.
Young people don't yet know "one liter water bottle" is old guy code for road urinal, do they? Wisdom triumphs over genius.

Wow, this is the exhaust on the new Maverick truck we are building. Crazy! Not a single flange or joint in 12' of tubing and three "mufflers". Truck has a single cat in the very short downpipe right after the turbo. Going to be some great improvements opening this system up, tubing is only about 2-3/8" OD. The plan is a full 3" system, it will be built in multiple sections so it can be easily shipped, one single muffler and improved ground clearance, the exhaust is the lowest thing on the truck.

3" exhaust on a 2.0 eco? Ok, have at it.
