We don't get hail often but had very heavy hail yesterday. Sounded like someone was knocking on the house with a hammer.
No damage to Maverick

Sure glad we don't get much hail up here, but I guess in order to get hail it has to stop snowing.

I wonder If there is such a thing as a cushioned car cover to protect against the crazy large sized hail.

Quarter sized hail in NW AR at 7:30. Cars are in the garage and safe. Not sure about my house's roof though.

didn't get any hail over here, Steve. Just rain. It's good to have a garage that you can actually park vehicles in, vs filling one with junk.

Most of the truck is steel but the hood is aluminum. A magnet will show you...

Good to hear you didn't get hit. Ours lasted ~7mins. Most of the hail was dime sized. It didn't sound like the golf ball stuff we got years ago. First time I'd ever heard what sounded like people on the roof with baseball bats.

I have been lucky. In Texas, with HUGE hail, my cars were in the garage, safe. Here in Maryland, I have had hail storms twice. Both times I put on my regular car cover on my truck, and the hail was small enough that no damage was done to my Maverick. In case of huge hail, I would have to put blankets under the car cover, and hope for the best. THOSE BLANKETS THAT MOVERS USE WOULD BE NICE, UNDER THE CAR COVER.

yes there are inflatable ones, saw one on YouTube. There are also, I guess you would call a heavy duty cover. They are a little pricy.
