Got hit by hail last night. Ended up with about 2 inches on the ground. Quarter or ping pong sized. Only had it for 5 weeks so far. Now, can we find parts. No sense getting it fixed, another round coming over the next 12 hours.

I wouldn’t want hail the first year. Maybe 3-5 years in when it’s already beat up and I wouldn’t feel bad keeping the check

That stinks. Happened to me many years ago and I drove a dimpled Ranger around for a few years. Kept one of the hailstones in the freezer for years for show-n-tell. It was about grapefruit sized, composed of four or so golf and tennis ball sized stones fused together. Did about $40K in damage to cars, roof, ridge vent, heat pump, garage door. Also took out neighbor's skylights.
I feel for ya.
Had one pea/dime sized episode since I've had the Maverick. Thankfully no damage.

Ding dang. That is sharp too, PDR won't fix most of that. New hood for sure.

Much better. the metal is 19 years older, so a little more stout. Did crack the windshield and put a couple dings in the hood and top of cab but that just adds more character to it. The house took the worst of it. holes in the siding and shingles will need to be replaced.

The house is easily 15k in damage. It adds up quick.Make sure you include the grill and ornaments outside in your claim. I got $400 for my grill and only had one tiny dent (2017 storm). I also removed a couple items off the repair list to make up my 1,000 deductible. They ended up replacing those line items anyway even though I didn’t pay for them. Lol

If your two trucks are on the same auto policy and the same storm you only need to pay 1 deductible for those.

See if a Paintless Dent Repair can be done on the hood and pillars.
