I purposely parked in no man’s land so I wouldn’t be next to anyone. Plus I got a baby to put in the back seat on the passenger side. Came out and saw this d**k face pulled up as I’m walking to my truck. Had to squeeze in to put the baby in the back seat while he was on the phone texting. I’m so done living with humans. Time to move to Mars.

Happens to me all the time. Idiots are like moths to a flame if they see you parked all by yourself. It is a behavior that I cannot understand. I guess you have to be stupid.

Understand completely. I live at the beach in the no-drive section, depending on the day/time the beach is either abandoned or sporadically dotted with people. Mostly it's fishermen on the shoreline. However, more often than not the beach is pretty empty and you have no problems finding a spot to set up. Inevitably, you will have the group that shows up with screaming kids, blaring the radio, and who feels inclined to sit down 10 feet away from you. WHY?!

I think In most cases, you should consider it the act of a like minded person who wants to protect his/her vehicle from dings and dents. They park next to you because they know you will be careful and at least that side is protected. Of course, there are those who will do it just to spite you, but most people don"t want to walk more than they have to.

Had the same thing happen at the grocery store two weeks ago. I parked in the boonies and came out to find a minivan parked so close to my driver's side I had to squeeze to get in the door. I did a check for door dings. Her passenger side was next to my driver's side so I'm assuming she was alone as no one could have gotten out without hitting my vehicle. I hate people.

If baby was your only passenger they should be in the middle seat in the rear, or behind the driver. Never put a baby on the blood side.

Had the exact thing happen to me. Out of all the spots to park, an idiot with the same truck had to park close to me.............so close I could barely get in the drivers side.

Canadians are very polite and would never take up two parking stalls. They park strictly between the lines.
