Is your Maverick Rusting?

Now that some Mavericks have been through a few winters, does yours have any rust? Especially interested in hearing where if you have any rust on any body panels.

I posted a similar thread last September but I thought I would ask now that we've been through another winter.

I got my maverick in december of 22. It is a 2022 2.0 eco and has two pennsylvania winter's under it belt and no rust.

No issues yet that I can see. 2.5 years in Washington, but we don't really have salt on the road here.

My truck sits out 24/7, been through two Ohio winters, 30k miles, looks great so far, even underneath. I've done no undercoating, paint protection, etc... all stock OEM.

Maybe about 4 more years. Most new vehicles won't show any rust bubbles for 6 years in the rust belt.

Yeah, I'm sure it is , somewhere. Can't see any though. (Anything made of steel or iron rusts, so every new vehicle starts to rust the moment it comes off the assembly line. How well the manufacturer, and ultimately the buyer, protects the vehicle will determine what rusts, and at what speed.)

No rust on my ‘23 Hybrid Lariat even after a salty New England winter. I hit the undercarriage with SaltAway, using a tank sprayer, in spring to prevent corrosion and remove any salt deposits. I would usually follow up with my undercarriage pressure wash bar but, I hesitate to use it on Mav given the felt-like underbody and wheel well covers. I don’t want to potentially rip them up.

I've had mine for a year living in Abilene, TX. However, I took it in for preventative rust treatment just for my peace of mind. Should last 3 years in my part of the country. Mostly dry with occasional rain.

My 22 FX4 with only 10k miles is having a birthday at the end of the month 2 years old and looks like the day I picked it up, my only concern is the muffler, it had light rust on it 2 years ago and not getting any better. Unfortunately it will make the 3/36 but not much longer.
We have had 2 very very mild winters no salty roads and live 5 miles from the ocean.
