Maybe I'll start a new trend... tow your garage with you. Park, unhook, lower the corner jacks... and pull right in!

(Disclaimer - the trailer is aluminum so only weighs 2680 lbs empty)

If you parked the truck inside the trailer, how would you get out of the truck? Even with the windows down I think it would be tough, and no matter how much butter I lathered on myself, there's no way I'd be able to slip out the rear window.

The Mav is 73" wide, the trailer interior is 95"... plenty of room if you skip breakfast

Hitch weight is supposed to be 288lbs empty. I'm parked in a sloped lot, near the drain, so it looks a little more squatted than it really is... but yeah, it's a big trailer, hook it to a Mav with extreme caution lol.

He backed up so he could open the driver's door wide enough to step out. Of course it only worked because he had a compact car with a manual trans so he could roll it forward again to close the door.

Now that's a good question. Here's how one guy solved it.

Reminds me of that Top Gear episode with the 3-wheel Reliant Robin (I think that's what it was called) and the car would tip onto its side on turns; the driver would climb out the other door, push the car upright, and drive off.

Realistically, roll down a window (might be easier to crawl over the interior and jump out a different window without a steering wheel in the way). You could also park as close as possible to one side and see how far you can open a door (probably a rear door since they are shorter front-to-back).

Some trailers can be optioned with a large flip-up escape door and flip-down fender on the driver's side to make the loading/unloading process easier.

If it was loaded, perhaps. At 2680lbs empty, even 15% would be 402lbs. Well within the payload limit.

Towing on a windy day will get real exciting!

Especially with a lightweight large box trailer.
