It is 5/60K on the powertrain and the hybrid specific components are covered for 8/100K. The eCVT should be included in the 8/100K, as it is very unique to the hybrid.Doesn't the manufacturer warranty that comes with the truck, cover the truck tranny for 5 years/60000 milles. So no need to use the extended warranty. Right?
It's still a transmission. And there is a flywheel; they serve more purpose than a gear for a starter to interface with.22 hybrid, transmission? Hybrids don't have a transmission in the conventional sense. And there's no flywheel because there's no starter
If you are speaking of manufacturer warranty on tranny: I believe it is 5 yrs/60,000 milesNot yet. Tranny is good for 50k miles. I'm ether selling it when it s fixed or getting an extended warranty

The little I know is that the hybrid tranny includes gears. I think and I say think it has 2 electric motors. Is the electric motors actually technically part of the tranny? So if any of the electric motors are its inwards parts takes a dump the 5 yr/60000 miles warranty covers that? It's still a transmission. The motors are part of the transmission. They would be considered part of the hybrid drivetrain coverage for 8yr/100k miles. The little I know is that the hybrid tranny includes gears. Ford considers it a transmission. There's a planetary gearset that in concert with the starter/generator electric motors acts as a differential that allows the ratio between the input via the engine to the output of the axle shafts to be variable, ergo it is a transmission.Nope , there is no transmission, nothing that has gears that change gears, there's nothing to remove. It's a ecvt, which is basically some software that manipulates the electric motors

Vin # is 3FTTW8E3XNRA60789. The dealer is Dowling Ford in Cheshire Ct. They told me the tranny won't be in until around Mar. 23rd. They said I can still drive it but really don't want to . My wife is driving it and I don't want her to get stuck. Wish I could get a loaner.Hello there. Can you send over a message with your VIN and the name/location of the Ford dealer you are working with? I would like to see what I can do to assist with your Maverick's repairs.
