No they did not show me the dirty fluid. I assume they removed the filler plug behind the left wheel, and looked at the fluid that way.

The dealer told me my tranny fluid is dirty and needs changing at 55K miles on my 22 Maverick hybrid. The Manual says to change it at 120 k. tHEY WANT $490 TO CHANGE THE FLUID. I took it to a local garage and was told dont waste my money changing it now. Any thoughts on this issue.

I finally got a loaner. But I have been waiting over 3 months now to get it fixed. I dont quite know why it is taking so long.

VIN is 3FTTW8E3XNRA60789. Dealer is Dowling Ford in Cheshire ct. Tranny is not due in until Mar. 23rd. They told me I can drive it but don't want to. Wish I could get a loaner.

Not yet. Tranny is good for 50k miles. I'm ether selling it when it s fixed or getting an extended warranty

The gas tank started leaking where the filler tube meets the gas tank three weeks ago. Got a new gas tank. Now I noticed a shaking in my front wheels when accelerating. Took it to the dealer and he said the Truck needs a new transmission. Something to do with the flywheel in the transmission...
