Out of warranty on a Ford.. usually best to dump - at least in my view/experience.
Hearing that makes me really hesitant to get a ford. Coming from mostly Japanese vehicles I'm used to them running out of warranty and still running just fine. Seems ridiculous that you basically have to constantly have a car payment either that or risk likely very expensive repairs

Interesting comments in this thread about warranty, it makes me think people aren't actually reading. At 35K miles the owner has the full warranty as new. The warranty coverage starts dropping off at 3/36K when you have the 5/60K powertrain and an 8/100K hybrid warranty.

In terms of people selling and moving to a '24 model year, you will take a decent financial hit. My truck configured on a '24 model year is $8,000 more than what I paid - with an extended warranty.

My truck is currently sitting around 8 recalls and almost half a dozen warranty repairs. The last recall arrived just the other day and is for motors blowing prematurely. A solution is being worked on....will contact me later....yada, yada. The longest my truck has been in for service was, maybe, a day.

This is what an early adopter's tax looks like. Anyone purchasing a '22, and early, should be expecting some level of issues. This rule applies to anything, car or otherwise.

It is 5/60K on the powertrain and the hybrid specific components are covered for 8/100K. The eCVT should be included in the 8/100K, as it is very unique to the hybrid.
For certain things in my opinion. But if the drivetrain has largely been in use in other vehicles like the escape then things like the transmission shouldn't be first year teething issues like this.

The gas tank started leaking where the filler tube meets the gas tank three weeks ago. Got a new gas tank. Now I noticed a shaking in my front wheels when accelerating. Took it to the dealer and he said the Truck needs a new transmission. Something to do with the flywheel in the transmission. I have to wait four weeks for a new tranny. Ready to get rid of this truck with all the problems and recalls.
Update: bought an extended warrantee from Granger Ford. Still waiting for my new tranny. The dealer said around March 23rd.
I had that transmission problem too, was out of a truck for a month, but got a free loaner. Was last year before these problems were well known. Had less than 10K miles on it. No problems since, but too many recalls for my liking.... Love the truck though, still enjoy driving it.

I finally got a loaner. But I have been waiting over 3 months now to get it fixed. I dont quite know why it is taking so long.
