An oil breather cap on the stock 2.0 will only serve as a very redundant PCV system. This isn't an alternative to utilizing an oil catch can. This simply relieves excess crankcase pressure. It doesn't capture vapor and oil particles. On your built Focus, keyword being "built", the breather cap helps with the extra crankcase pressure from what I would presume is added boost (more than factory boost). You would see greater benefits from a breather cap if you had a naturally aspirated engine and boosted it via turbo/supercharger.
