@fordvideoguy Tim, I won't be able to catch this live tonight but can you inquire about the much discussed deep sleep issue? I think a lot of us would like to hear FordMoCo's version of what's going on with this.

All I want is PHEV, ACC on 360, a larger brighter Infotainment Screen, wireless connection to Apple CarPlay, a better place for drive mode button that stays in that mode, and then I will upgrade to another Mav😀 Otherwise, I love mine!

Love to see an all black interior, and be done with this blue everything. Also Bring in eruption green paint color. Many people have asked for this color. Fog lights are a missing option that should be available.

I love Eruption Green but I'm not sure it'll look 100% on the Maverick.

In the end, I'm extremely happy with my truck and any changes coming in MY25 won't come close to tipping the scales in favor of replacing my Tremor.

So, what I got was:
1) Maybe a sporty trim package with maybe larger tires?
2) Maybe some cosmetic "upgrades"
3) Maybe a larger screen with Sync4

Honestly, pretty underwhelming. Personally, I'm not interested in a sportier Maverick (I have the hybrid) and actually like the cosmetics of my Lariat. The larger infotainment screen is a big negative in my book, especially if it replaces many of the manual switches like is done in my daughter's Suburu Crosstrek.

Since I just picked up my '24 Lariat FX4, I'm in no position or have the motive to want the refreshed 25MY Maverick. It will be interesting to see what the upgrades entail. I'm curious to see if it will in fact get the vertical touchscreen found in the new Ranger since they're possibly adding a 360-degree camera system judging by the cameras spotted underneath the side mirrors. Also, I wonder what the front and rear fascia will look like since they're heavily camouflaged. I don't have a problem with the current one but just to stay relevant, they need to constantly change. What I worry the most is since there's bound to be more features and possibly a new trim, this will lead to further price hikes. Soon, the Maverick will no longer be an affordable vehicle and just follow the trend of most new vehicles being more expensive than they should.

I'm really interested in these changes. When my Maverick Lariat got totaled in December (not my fault !) I was torn between ordering another one or trying to find one. I got lucky and found a hybrid xlt with no mark ups so I went ahead and got it. I miss my Lariat so I'm going to order a 25 when the order banks open.

1) Add the ability to mechanically (i.e. without applying external power) move/roll out a dead HYBRID Maverick out of a compromised (dead) position. Currently, 99% of the time, when a Maverick is dead, it has no OEM onboard power ... the HYBRID must have an external power source (like a Jump Pack) available to supply enough temporary power to - with some luck - allow the user to turn on the vehicle and move it out of a locked "P"-to-"N" so it can be rolled out ... IMHO, this is a serious SAFETY issue. [Why do it? ... Because it will remove a serious FOMOCO potentially costly liability issue]

2) Add externally accessible USB ports on the sides of the front plastic cover housing the sensors on top of the rear view mirror. This will facilitate the powering of devices such as "Dash Cams", "Garage Door Openers", etc., at the point of use. [Why do it? ... Because it will provide FOMOCOwith a valuable competitive advantage]

3) Add slide-able (boat like) access ports to under engine cover to facilitate removing/ replacing oil filter and removing/ replacing oil plug nut. [Why do it? ... Because it will provide FOMOCO with a valuable competitive advantage]

4) Bring back door mounted key pad. [Why do it? ... Because it will retain a previously had FOMOCO competitive advantage]

5) Add 60/40 foldable split rear seat. [Why do it? ... Because it will eliminate one of FOMOCO's competition competitive advantage]

6) Offer "split rear window" as option for all trims. [Why do it? ... Because it will eliminate one of FOMOCO's competition competitive advantage]

7) Change transmission dial knob to stick. [Why do it? ... Because it will eliminate one of FOMOCO's competition competitive advantage]

I’ve learned that while some “upgrades” are fun to think about, most stuff in practical terms isn’t really needed especially if it results in continued price increases. I think the purpose of the Maverick is an affordable, practical vehicle with room for further additions on the end user side. I’d like wireless CarPlay but once again not if it requires me to roll the dice on a new Maverick, mine works and I’m not willing to risk it. There are so many threads about upgrades in this forum and I like that everyone has a different approach but I really think all of that is preference and in most cases far from necessary. YMMV!

What's the "split rear window" option you're talking about? Is that like the old style sliding rear window?
