Sorry, this is just ridiculous. ALL modern cars can do this. If you want more performance because you like going fast, fine, but don't pretend that it's needed to do normal car/truck driving.
For what it's worth, my 2024 hybrid Maverick has WAAAY more acceleration than the 2003 Suburu Outback...

No, because I live in the sticks. A typical trip to Home Depot is over 100 miles, and the Maverick hybrid is perfect for my needs--tows my trailer, carries crap to the dump, can carry sheets of plywood, etc.

Well, you're comparing a new car with a used car . . . 28K is nothing to sneeze at (that's two years of driving at my current rate). I'm not saying you didn't get a good deal, or the best deal for you, but the difference of 10K is more than Lariat vs. XLT.
I've had WeatherTechs on other cars, and they're OK. But I have to say, the TuxMats are really better . . . they cover almost all of the carpet, clip in to stay in place, and (so far) don't warp in the heat. They look and feel more premium. I'm definitely a fan.
