2023 XLT. Got notified by Carfax, checked the Ford site, and it was there too. I called my dealer and they will be here tomorrow to do the recall.

I dropped mine off for the latest two recalls today. I'm wondering what will be turned off after I get it...my Forscan mods are the additional modes and fog light switch addition.

Oh well, at least they'll switch back things that I may have forgotten to revert with Forscan lol.

So far so good not had an issue with this. My motto is if it's not broken don't try to fix it. Haven't had any recalls on mine until the turn signal thing - its working fine so my motto applies to it

Interesting. I've never had an issue with brightness but I can see how some might in sunnier areas. Mine likes to go from super bright to what I have it set as on night mode back and forth sometimes in the early mornings. I had the same issue with the Escape before it. Escape was Hybrid, Maverick is EB. Doesn't help that it's always either gloomy or foggy when it does it, but it's happened during normal sunny mornings too. Montana sun is a very strange location lol. It's basically sideways across the sky. Canadians will understand.

2022 XLT HYBRID, recall showed up in APP.

I wonder if this recall will improve the brightness of the infotainment touch screen.... My 2023 XLT falls under the recall. I have tried adjusting the brightness of the screen with the dash buttons along with the touch screen settings multiple times. Doesn't seem to get any brighter after 50%.

Occasionally my screen is darker than at other times. Haven't mentioned to dealer as I have forgotten when in for oil change or other recall reprogramming. Was wondering if lazy electrons got generated?

Hello all,

Got a new recall notice today for an Instrument Panel Illumination recall.
Says the fix is a software patch.

Have not got it, but never noticed any issues with dashboard lights.

I have a '22 XL Hybrid.
Not sure if specific to certain years or motors.

Just a heads up if anyone is getting service soon; might want to add this one in.

Don’t know why Ford sends out recall notices as my dealer hasn’t contacted me about performing the fix on my Maverick. I’ve asked but no call to tell me to bring it in. I’ve got outstanding recalls on my mav and wife’s explorer.

I have one 22 with hibirds. tons of tsb's, recalls and I simply ignore all of them. The truck runs and drives just fine. Zero issues that really matter. I'll let Ford know if it quits altogether.

Round trip coast to coast once, only 9500 miles on the beast as there are others.
What's my fav...well the FRS of course ! It's not simply an appliance as are the Fords. LOL.

Sawgrass Ford called me and came to my house to do the upgrade. 22 XLT hybrid. Only one left is the engine fire fix with the parts avail. soon.

Well that makes sense since it sets in the west and rises in the east lol.
For us up north it's a strange. Where I'm at we get 7-8 hours of daylight in winter and nearly 16 hours during summer. The difference between our longest/shortest day is over 7 ours where yours is 3 hours.

For perspective, today that puts the sun at 36 degrees altitude at its peak for us and 51 degrees for you. So southern states experience a higher and longer on average sunlight which seems to almost be a straight up and down motion, vs. ours that sort of drags horizontally across a bottom portion through the sky year round.

I got the email from Carfax tonight for my 23 XLT hybrid. Nothing on FordPass for either. I had a message about the turn signal one but it went away a while back.
