    Sawgrass Ford called me and came to my house to do the upgrade. 22 XLT hybrid. Only one left is the engine fire fix with the parts avail. soon.

    Had mine in to Sawgrass Ford and before and after pictures were the same. I did remind them of problems others had.

  4. 38,000 mile summary. BEWARE: ISSUES GALORE!

    My 2022 hybrid is in for 1 wk and today ford said another wk or longer until the 2 people doing recalls can get to it. 3rd try for airbags- they lose the parts? Will be a fun wait for the parts for the engine FIRE!

  5. Any idea why people are trading in their new Mavericks?

    Too many recalls? Bought my Hybrid to tow behind my motor home but if I can't rely on it why have it.

  6. Flat towing the Maverick?

    Installed the blue ox base plate and shutters remain intact. Did not like the small gauge wires for lights. installed removable lights on tail gate and wires to front with a plug installed on drivers side rear plastic panel. Installed ISL products to keep battery charged.

    The wires in the tail lights looked too fragile - I added my own lights. Ordered the LSL wiring kit to keep the Maverick battery charged.

    Started install of base plate and it helps if you download the instructions and enlarge the view and see it in color. I also found parts of the Roadmaster baseplate install instructions add some needed help in removing the fascia.

    Mine is on order. What type of charging system is used? Tks.

    XLT Hybrid picked up Jan 13th- it has the insulation.

  13. Was your Maverick delivered during estimated delivery window?

    10/18/21 was est. delivery date- received 01/13/22.

  14. Why did you order a Maverick? What are you going to use it for?

    2007 Saturn Vue is what I've been using to tow behind my motorhome. Need something newer and hybrid can be towed 4 down - if Blue Ox gets a base plate made.
