I picked up my 3rd Maverick today. I had a 22 that I put a lot of miles on, traded that in for a new 22, and just traded that for my latest 24. I'm a project manager who gets a car allowance and travels occasionally to jobs within a 50 mile area. I love these little trucks. Great on gas, fun and easy to drive, plenty of room for my gear and it's pretty quick. The down side....the factory tires suck, the radio is not bad for the price point but the software for that system has many glitches. The little trucklet does get some body shudder behind 18 wheelers at cruising speeds and the wind buffeting with the rear windows down could pop an ear drum. The interior plastic panels tend to get scratched easily. However, the last two Mavericks I had, have been dependable, did what I needed it to do, and at a pretty darn good price considering today's truck prices. So I am forgiving of the Cons of these Mavericks. Dollar for dollar, you can't buy any small truck for the price of what these Mavericks cost, even with the price hike on the 24's. So as my new, as of today, Maverick sits in my driveway with 24 miles on it, I have confidence knowing that little truck of mine will get me through the snow, up and down the hills, and job to job without any major issues.
