I picked up my 3rd Maverick today. I had a 22 that I put a lot of miles on, traded that in for a new 22, and just traded that for my latest 24. I'm a project manager who gets a car allowance and travels occasionally to jobs within a 50 mile area. I love these little trucks. Great on gas, fun and easy to drive, plenty of room for my gear and it's pretty quick. The down side....the factory tires suck, the radio is not bad for the price point but the software for that system has many glitches. The little trucklet does get some body shudder behind 18 wheelers at cruising speeds and the wind buffeting with the rear windows down could pop an ear drum. The interior plastic panels tend to get scratched easily. However, the last two Mavericks I had, have been dependable, did what I needed it to do, and at a pretty darn good price considering today's truck prices. So I am forgiving of the Cons of these Mavericks. Dollar for dollar, you can't buy any small truck for the price of what these Mavericks cost, even with the price hike on the 24's. So as my new, as of today, Maverick sits in my driveway with 24 miles on it, I have confidence knowing that little truck of mine will get me through the snow, up and down the hills, and job to job without any major issues.

Congratulations on your new truck. Thanks for the review, money talks, BS walks. After purchasing 3 Ford Maverick's that says a lot. Hope this one is better than your last 2. Best of luck with your new truck.

Agree with you about value for money.
Just found out my 3rd Maverick was build yesterday but will have to wait for it to ship. Ordered 60 days ago so a big improvement on build times compared to my previous trucks. My Mav's don't get a lot of miles and sit in the garage at night plus I don't do truck stuff except some minor towing, I am buying the new one because I wanted a different color. :p

Wow, that is great news! The worst thing about the Maverick is the waiting.

Love my 22 Maverick, but decided that past me was wrong and I actually needed the 4k tow package, so ordered me a 24 Lariat a couple weeks ago. Just got my first email saying they are targeting build week of April 1.

OP, I'm curious about the financials on your trades, because I'll be trading mine in a year or so (before the warranty expires). I'm curious what your annual ownership cost was, in general terms. Typically for economy vehicles like this, I would expect around $1,700 or so per year in depreciation a (normalized for inflation). The Maverick was weird for a while because of supply issues, but I hope and expect it will normalize soon.

I actually made money off my first trade as the used one was worth more than the new truck. The used Maverick prices were pretty high and I got my 2nd one at sticker. The second truck which I traded this past week came down in trade value as the market is starting to even out, I believe because of the higher interest rates. Got a fair trade amount but nothing like last year.
