My wife couldn’t care less that I bought a Maverick. She has zero interest in the truck.

If she bought a new car I would be happy for her.

In our family, no one is better than the other. We are able to do many things on our own, and all we want is each other to be happy. I guess this is a reason we have been married for over 30 years.

I traded my Maverick for personal reasons. My wife likes convertibles and I like her better than the Maverick. Here is the scoop if anyone is looking for a Maverick like this. '23 Lariat Hybrid with Lux Pkg and Black Appearance Pkg, Area 51, 1,200 miles Has the following adds: Black Tailgate Letter Inserts, Spray in bedliner. Ford bed mat, Hard trifold bed cover, tailgate assist, hood assist, tinted side windows, Ford floor liners. It was traded to Midwest Ford in Hutchinson, KS and they are asking $38675. It is basically in new condition.

This is a GOOD thing! I love my Maverick, but need more pulling power. I did place an order for a '24 Maverick with AWD and the 4K tow package, but after some debate with my other half, we decided to place an order for the Ranger instead. Still staying with this group!

I have one of each and love them both so you can't go wrong. If I had to get rid of one of them it would be an agonizing decision!!!!!

I'm kinda getting nervous about rates and whatnot. I've made peace with the fact that if I decide to walk away from the Ranger, I'll be just fine keeping my Maverick until I can pay it off, at which time I'll buy another truck and keep my Maverick as my commuter. (I really do love the little f'er!) I totally understand your decision, although I don't have the Ranger as a comparison.

Nothing like a ragtop. Have had a few 65 impala, 67 wildcat. Now have a mr2 spyder. Next best thing to a motorcycle. My Dad had a Celica convertible. Nice car.

Sooo jealous. I had a 1986 MR2 years ago. Either the first or second year it was made. It was my favorite car I've ever had. Unfortunately had to sell it when our first child came along!

In defense of the maverick, at least it won't suddenly decide it wants to be driven by someone else, and then leave you and take half your stuff.
