Insurance costs for a 2024 Maverick?

I had geico run a generic quote for my soon to be delivered 2024 hybrid. Close to $5600 a year! in in florida if that makes a difference. what is your experience?

Here in horrible Southern California it added under a grand to my total insurance bill, with two cars (one comprehensive , one just liability) + the Maverick and three drivers (one under 25). Total slightly over $2k/yr for all three.

About $800 per year full coverage Indiana.

That seems awful high, I pay about 1/4 of that in SC which is not one of the favorable rate states.
Of course there are multiple other factors that affect rates.

No real negative factors. I'm married, have no tickets..
Wow. Many I have to call a third time. Now Geico said its it'll add around $1100 year.

I have higher insurance amounts and low deductibles for a 2024 Lariat hybrid and I'm at ~$700 per year. But, it is just me and no kids.

The yearly premium for my Maverick is below. My wife's Jeep is an addtional $693.88 per year. So $1581.47 for both vehicles for a year. $500 deductible. Full glass coverage, with no deductible. This is with Auto Owners Insurance Company. We've both clean driving records (no accidents or tickets), and would probably be considered older drivers?

I will be paying $365 per year with $2,000 deductible, max limits on my 24 wich is currently shipping to the dealer.

Just got my renewal quote from All State in South Carolina. They are raising rates 25% on average, my quote for 3 cars was actually up 28% and 2 of them we drive less than 2000 miles a year. The Maverick was the cheapest at $440 every 6 months. I was at $500 deductible on all 3 so I changed it to $1,000 and my increase dropped to 8%. Same day a Wall Street Journal article said since the major companies jacked up their rates their profits are up 50%, they all claimed they were losing money before because of wrecks since Covid , more driving and repair costs have gone thru the roof.

I went from a 2016 Chrysler 300s to the 2024 Ford Maverick 2.0L and my insurance went down 50 bucks a month. I do have joint coverage with my wife and have been with geico forever.

If you have ANY relatives who have served military, try USAA rates. I've been with them for 20+ years, they have always been cheapest. (totally clean driving record, married, older). Live in SC, Mav is garage kept.

I have 3 cars insured, Maverick and Odyssey are full coverage (higher than minimum liability coverages), just liability on old Miata, $900/year.

This is worth your effort to do some online comparison shopping.

Geico: Our 6 vehicles are right at $2200 for a year. 2 Mavericks, 1 2019 MX-5, 1 2015 Jeep, 1 2021 Transit-based Class C Motorhome, and a soon to be sold 2017 C-Max. Wyoming, way over 65, 2 drivers, no tickets or accidents, multi-vehicle discounts, etc.

Way too many differences based on location, age, tickets/accidents if any, and the deductibles you choose.

In NY ...one driver $800 year with higher than minimums and full collision...went up from $700 year before..Other two cars are Grundy insured so I can't get a multicar discount with Hartford AARP...
I was paying $1300 for three cars before but sold all of them for the Maverick. Grundy is 1.9k year for 2 cars worth 4 times the Maverick..Maverick insurance out of wack.
