Hu....

I am ~6 recalls, 1 or 2 technical service bulletins, at least one customer satisfaction program, 7 or 8 warranty services, and waiting on parts for 2 more services....

I still wouldn't get rid of it and it has never left me on the side of the road. It is just that 'reliable' would be doing some heavy lifting here.

There is already a thread on this. This is a duplicate. I believe they didn't actually say it was reliable. They don't have three years of data. They predicted it would be reliable based on similar platforms.

Provide link please of the thread that makes this a duplicate thread.

Where did this article say based on similar platforms? It stated the Maverick made the cut thanks to its solid predicted reliability scores, which are based on feedback from Consumer Reports‘ owner surveys.

This article was just published today on January 23, 2024.

It was for the EB not the Hybrid

If it makes you feel better I'm dealing with a second set of bad front half shafts on a stock suspension ecoboost. Getting a vibration under load. This is my third Ford and honestly I don't think post COVID manufacturing and supply chain issues have been kind to Ford and the already problematic supplier issues they've had. I have a feeling the article in OP's post is going to age like milk.

The day I posted this I received another recall in the mail for my hybrid.

My brother's '23 EB has only had a bad stereo head unit, like ours. He is ~12K in, compared to my 40K, and he has had basically zero issues.

1 year and a drivetrain difference matters.

Here is a couple pics from the article. I kinda think CR is a joke, but they polled 300k vehicles. The tire article was really bad, although I'm leaning towards the Defender 2 for the wife's 2018 CRV.
