You do know Henry was testing the strength of the trunk lid, which he had made from soy in an experiment on replacing steel with something he grew on his own farms.

You have written a wonderful letter, far more polite than I could have done. Having said that, I believe you are simply pissing into the wind. They already have your money, loyalty is no longer valued in our country.
But, I wish you well. You deserve better.

The sales wouldn't have been as high. Many of us opted for the hybrid, not the EcoBoost. Having driven an EV, I had no plans to go for a traditional EcoBoost, but eagerly went for the hybrid. The extended wait time reflects the preference for the hybrid among many buyers.
This. ☝
Sorry the OP got a lemon. If same happened to me, I'd would've hired a lemon-law attorney already.
If the Hybrid didn't exist, I'd still be driving my previous vehicle. I want nothing to do with a turbo or an 8-speed automatic, constantly hunting for which gear to be in.

Nowadays, it might be faster to get traction if you send your complaints on Twitter or other social media platform. Speaking of social media, where is the Ford account on the forum?!

The 2wd Ecoboost could get 35mpg. That would have been a much simpler solution for the intro and then hit em with the hybrid once there is actual competition. Even a 1.5eb would have been sufficient and efficient enough. If for some reason the second model year didn't sell out in a week they could have always used just 0.01% of the F150 advertising budget to even tell people it existed. I'm pretty sure the only people on the Mavericks advertising campaign is the Administrator of this forum.

It's plausible that the Hybrid played a significant role in the vehicle's sales. Personally, I contemplated switching to the 2WD EcoBoost when my Hybrid faced delays. However, the primary reason I chose the Maverick was the Hybrid. If Ford hadn't introduced the Hybrid initially, sales might not have been as robust. The Hybrid generated buzz and likely influenced overall sales, providing valuable insights into customer preferences. This is my perspective, and I harbor no bias against the EcoBoost; my preference simply leaned towards the Hybrid.

The more mavericks are sold back thru lemon law the more money Ford will lose and maybe just maybe it might convince them to do better quality control.
