I get real crappy milage when I use ECO, so I don't. I use normal all the time and my running total at just under 7000 miles is 43.0. Maybe you better stop using ECO like I did. My profile shows me with an ecosboost, but it is wrong. I have a hybrid I waited 21 months for.

You can edit that profile and change it to what you really have you know.

This is my lifetime numbers. The colder months so far have been low but I've also been remote starting my truck nearly every morning since it's cold AF here.

I had a 2023 Maverick Hybrid (Built in Dec 2022) and I got around 37-38 MPG on avg. That car was totaled, so I ordered another one.

So far, my 2024 Maverick Hybrid is getting around 42 MPG, with the same kind of driving I have been doing. I noticed it immediately.

I really believe that some Mavericks are "tuned" or calibrated better than others. I got a 5MPG difference by changing Mavericks.

So how much freeway driving...usually that hurts the mpg...then again, if you are crawling on the 405 for an hour......

I'm getting 33 average mpg after almost 3k miles. 60/40 highway/city. I understand highway is going to be worse. But I do far amount of city driving too. I use Eco mode EVERY TIME and try to keep it in electric/charging using the coach as much as possible.

So what's going on? Are you guys being serious with the MPGs you're reporting??? BE HONEST

One of the big selling points was mpg and I have 20 year old truck that I can get 25mpg in with complete disregard for driving style
Pretty sure 33 is the epa combined mpg?
And I don't see the mileage that your referencing with my EB2.0. In the winter, it is 16 - 17 MPG or less, summer time it is around 19 MPG. Pretty much all in city traffic, stop and go, short distances 3 - 6 miles round trip with one/two stops. mid to to high grade fuel, not in the hurry and rolling to the lights. If you say that the engine does not even warm up fully, especially in the the winter, yeah, that would be correct....

Am I happy with it? No, but it is what it is and still better than my previous F150 with its 10 MPG under the same circumstances...
I would say there is something wrong. I guess if I floored it every single start, I could get it that low.

I had a 2023 Lariat hybrid, used it to commute to and from work. A 104 mile roundtrip on the highway. My driving was 90% highway for the 8,000 miles I put on the truck. My average speed to work was 72. I averaged 32 miles per gallon over those 8,000 miles. Since it didn't come with the adaptive cruise control that I wanted, I traded it for an ecoboost a month ago. With 1,000 on that I am averaging 24.5 mile to the gallon, again at an average speed of 72 miles for the roundtrip. So I too have never gotten the gas mileage that others got, and I don't know why....

Could there be a considerable difference in tire inflation?

Not possible in my case, I always check tire pressures and keep them at the levels specified in the door jambs. First thing I did when I bought the vehicle was check tire pressure.

I do probably 75% local driving and am averaging 44 at the pump (onboard computer claims 46.5) on the hybrid.

Using the built in dash info, after 32000 miles my average mpg is 40.
I estimate my driving is a 50/50 mix town to highway. I have driven in the Colorado mountains, in the Ozarks around Branson, the plains of Oklahoma and Texas. City driving in small towns and large cities. Overall average over 2 years is 40 mpg. I tried Eco on highway 1 time. I still drive in Openroad always.

I’m he an average of 40 mpg. Depends on a lot of factors: driving habits, cold and hot weather, where you are driving…

2023 XL hybrid with only option a hitch. Delivered in August and have 4k miles, half of which are NY to Boston trips to visit my kids. I am getting 42 MPG overall with close to 50 locally and high 30s on the highway. I'm happy with that.

2022 Hybrid XLT. As mentioned if the tire pressure is a little low it affects your milage more than you might think. If you drive fast and you are not going down hill it affects your mileage. I have made 3 trips to Texas from Utah and one to California. I have gotten 45 to 50 mpg but I try to hold my speed to 65. If you run into a traffic slow down it is amazing the mpg you can get. Winter cold and short trips it is amazing how bad the mpg gets to be.

There could be something to this.

I know for a FACT different batches of the same make and model of tire can behave (& wear) differently. Makes sense some trucks would behave differently as well. 🤷🏻‍♂️
