I just got my XLT hybrid a few weeks ago. I drove it 2 hours home from the dealership and then a little bit around town (300km total). I filled it up before I drove across Germany and into Czech and saw that my first fill up was 5.8 liters/100km (40.6MPG) hand calculated which is pretty close to what is advertised.
2nd tank was almost all highway (autobahn) and showed 7.2 liters/100km (32.5MPG) hand calculated. This is running around 130-140km/hr (80-86mph) with a brief section or road to check of the vehicle limits (176km/hr 110mph).
So ford says 33/42/37 and I believe it to be accurate!
