1 month old Dash board shut down and car wont work

I was driving my 2023 hybrid maverick and all of a sudden the dash screen went dark and i parked and it would not start back up. The lights all come on but the truck wont start. The truck park light was flashing and now cant get it out of park. When they tried to jump it is had
Never had a new car breakdown down in a month.
Anyone else have this issue?

Update: the dealership got me a rental car and it took two days to fix. They said it was a loose wire harness.
I got in the truck and it immediately said “ electric driving info not available “
Then “ charging system failed park safely” and shut down!
This is crazy for a new truck. I have had 8 new vehicles in the last 12 years and never had a single issue.
this is my first Ford and I keep thinking it was a mistake!

Sounds like you need to call the dealership and get them to tow it in for service under warranty. You have "roadside assistance" included in your purchase, and it includes towing to the dealership if the truck is inoperable.

Thank you, I have towing with my insurance. Dealer said they could do nothing due to the service department being closed. I had it towed to dealer will see that they say tomorrow.

Will have to wait and see what the dealer says tomorrow. But this sounds a lot like the Deep sleep issues others have been posting about. Not a great introduction to Ford!

I just had something very similar happen to my 22 Lariat. While backing out of a parking spot everything shut off and I couldn't start the engine again. Wire Harness was replaced before I was dumb enough to buy it.
Extremely disappointing.

I just got my 27th consecutive 500-mile tank with my 22 EB. I drive in Eco, moderately, and 70 percent in the country. Unless you have a real city commute, I am not sure the hybrid is worth it. It has its place but does not make sense for many. Of course, this is easy to say in hindsight; it appears this ford hybrid has had more than its fair share of problems.

So you call it “my 22 Lariat” and then later you indicate harness was replaced before you were dumb enough to buy it. So you did buy this truck or did you not ?

Oh, sorry for the confusion. It’s mine I purchased it about a week ago.

Sorry for the lack up updates, i missed the notifications for this thread.
They said it was a loose connection to the charging system. they tightened up the 25 pin connector and it started right up.
when I picked it up i did not get out of the lot before the dash started going crazy again and trowing all kinds of errors. They took it back and two days later called and said they figured it out. There was a 30 amp fuse blown, which they said has not been a problem.
I picked it up and it has driven awesome ever since ! My gas milage went up.
the dealer handled it very well! They paid a rental car both times it was in the shop and gave me extra ford pass points.
Ford also called and added a maintenance package to my vehicle for oil changes for the inconvenience.

We hear lots of bitchin’ and moanin’ about Ford, deserved or otherwise. Nice to hear when things work out favorably.
