Seatbelt warning turn off anyone get it to work

If you are decent with a computer, use forscan. The first thing I did was get rid of seatbelt warnings and door/key chimes.

Did this get rid of the annoying pop-up too?
Do you recall the module and setting you used?

Mines off. Took a few times because I was doing the buckle/unbuckle to fast. Use the icon in the cluster for that part.

Update: Traded the 2022 Lariat AWD for my finally built, 2023 Lariat Hybrid yesterday. Seatbelt steps in manual would not work with this new truck, the seatbelt light would never go out, waited about 4 minutes. So, I tried the steps listed earlier; Waited about 5 seconds after turning to ACC then slowly plugged/unplugged seatbelt until light flashed, did the same for the passenger seat. I still get the "Seatbelt popup" but no chime. With the 2022 Ecoboost I never got the popup, software differences I guess.

Worked for me for the driver's seat. If at first you fail, keep trying. It took me 4 or 5 tries of the sequence to finally get the driver's seat chime disabled.

To do other seats, I think you need two people - one in the driver's seat and one in the seat you want to disable it for. I have only disabled the driver's seat because that's the only one I care about. Now, I can drive UP my long gravel private road to the mailbox without being nagged to buckle the goddamn belt.

I always wear my seatbelt when driving on public roads.

Then hop around the vehicle on one foot in a clockwise position, when you get back to the drivers door lift the other foot up & keep both feet up for 5 seconds & then blink twice Now your seatbelt chime is off, but if the damn popup doesn't disappear it's worthless. I don't mine the chime, I buckle up before I start the truck, so why do I have to put up with that popup for 45 seconds after that?

This worked for me after Forscan settings did nothing and the directions from the manual didn't work. The 5 seconds was when the yellow airbag light goes off, so using that as a queue I started the process until the blinking red seatbelt icon. (2023 EB XLT FX4 and a 2023 Hybrid XLT)

Of note, Forscan also has a setting for the seatbelt chime country. I could choose from USA and EU. EU made it so the chime did't come on until 13 MPH, vs something like 6 for USA.
