Lack of clearance on Ridgeline still would have me pick a maverick . But this does have more cargo room and bed space

There is a old video of a heavily modified Bronco Sport vs a heavily modified Ridgeline. Granted the BS has a shorter wheelbase than the Maverick but otherwise after beefing it for off-road the BS was definitely better and suffered less. But if you can't fit what you need in the Maverick and want to carry a big load off-road, you should probably jump over the Ridgeline and look into Ranger, Frontier, Colorados, and such. Skip the Toyotas, the only thing they are good at is resale value.

For bed space, the maverick bed volume is 1 cubic feet less than the ridgeline. Ridgeline's bed is more shallow due to the bed trunk feature but volume-wise it's almost the same (not including the trunk space).
