Those with the Black out Package - Happy?

Like the title of the thread we have a 2.0 Lariat in Atlas Blue with the BAP ordered. Would like to see pics and gauge owner satisfaction with the choice. Thanks in advance.

I sort of like the way it looks but I'll bet that black interior is hot in the summer. I only have this one till my hybrid comes in but, for the winter, I am liking the AWD.

I love my BAP. Mainly bc it stands out to most cactus grays in my town. The black ford logos are nice. The black mirror caps and crossbar have blue specks in it. I like the interior, but I wld have preferred something a bit more flashy like the XLT pkg.

Yes with the lariat.

I think the BAP looks great with the Atlas Blue. I didn't like the bright headlights, orange accents, and clash of colors in the XLT interior.

Love ours, is perfect with the Area 51 and the Lariat..So glad I changed from the Red color on the outside

I am very happy with BAP, I feel the contrast with Carbonized Gray works well in upgrading exterior and eliminating the brown interior on the Lariat interior trim.
My Lariat Hybrid, Carbonized Gray, Lux Pkg, BAP, Moonroof, Hard roll-up Tonneau, CP360 and Assist, remote start. Roof rack Torque. All installed at factory, except roof rack.

honestly: the all-black wheels.

the BAP 18" wheel is an all-black version of the 18" optional "machined face" wheel I have on my truck. you lose a lot of detail in a wheel when it's all black, you just can't see any features when you're more than a few feet away.

XLT Hybrid in Carbonized Grey, mostly happy with the BAP.

Exterior:
- Headlights and piano black grill bar are a huge improvement over the standard, on the XLT the upper portion is completely dark, looks even better on the Lariat since it has the DRLs to balance the look
- Combo gloss black / satin plastic side badges and mirrors go very well together, provide contrast while maintaining the overall look
- Tail lamp tint could be darker but removal of excess chrome from the reverse light area makes a difference
- Wish they provided a smoke tint on the side indicators and 3rd brake /cargo light, I believe the F-150 aftermarket options fit the cargo light area
- Factory tint is nice (30% rear side widows), not sure if this unique to the BAP. Wish the front side windows were darker (70%), plan on adding front tint to match the rear
- Wheels are a nice finish but wish there were some carbonized grey accents, may do something similar like the Tremor; lugs are still chrome unfortunately

Interior:
- All the orange accents are gone, 100% improvement
- XLT cloth seats are black side /rear but a textured grey face, wish they were all black. Active-X seats in the Lariat may be all black
- Hard plastics are still the slate blue, wish they were all black, should look good with the Altas Blue paint though
- Adding a cheap bezel around the radio button (I went with Musology) really completes the look, it looks weird having the grey molded area around them the same color as the rest of the dash

I also added the bezel around the radio buttons and it really does look nice, pulls in the infotainment bezel.

I am happy with it. I couldn't do the orange interior and wanted the black rims, so it made sense to just get the BAP package. The rims are a matte finish. I feel like I would like a gloss black better, but hard to tell without being able to see a side by side comparison.

My BAP is the Bomb. Love everything about it. Just finished getting a RhinoShield spray in bed installed so ready to roll.

Yes love my black XLT with the BOP, but hate the annoying rattling on the new truck less than 300 miles, reading from the threads and online I have an idea on fixing it without going back and forth to the dealership but other than that left my blackout package!
