Blacked out gas cap and badges

Wanted to black out the side badges and figured I'd do the gas cap too while I was at it. Plastidip, quick and easy.

I like the badges and how that came out. Looks much more subtle and blends in. Don't really care for the gas door though, looks more like you were just looking for something else to paint - stands out too much to me. Just my opinion though. Looks like you did a nice job on the everything though.

I’ll also ask the question, why the gas door
I see people do it all the time on other vehicles and it just seems out of place
I prefer the smoother lines matching colors provide (which is also why I painted my reflectors red since the orange stood out)

You really did a good job. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am old, real old, and the gas cap looks like a replacement part that hasn't been painted yet. Beautiful truck.

My last vehicle was black and can confirm that here in Fl it's a poor choice

It looks like it got damaged, and had to be replaced, but they haven't bothered to paint it to match the body yet

I've noticed recently that people will pay more / DIY to make their mirrors or bumper or trim / etc black
I remember when base models had black and body-color painted mirrors / etc were the upgrade.

I just chalk it up to people wanting what they don't have. Mirrors came black? I want them painted to match! They came painted? I want to black them out!
