I am just here to add another vote for - lights are cheap, relative to any accident. I turn my headlights and taillights on every time I am in the car.I got to thinking about how expensive the LED lighting is for the Maverick to replace, and I'm thinking why am I bothering to run LED daytime running lights on my 2022 hybrid? They're not required by law in my state, and they are expensive to replace.
To those who imply they save lives, I'm not buying it. I'm turning them off.
I can’t imagine being concerned about the potential cost of replacement and not using lights for that reason. To me it’s like saying “I don’t drive at night to save my headlights”.
Also, do whatever you want and I will do the same!
Cheers,
