Ford seems to be using LIFO ordering instead of First In First Out. I will be a year Sunday and I am pretty sure there are older outstanding orders out there. Kind of interesting looking back at all the Thursday scheduling days. And the order banks are STILL open....fascinating....
Yeah, I was really surprised, I was prepared, and kind of hoping, for a delay to push me a little more into next year. I saw there were some walkouts from the strike though - so guess we will see when the real date is!Unbelievable, you originally ordered 7 days ago.
Demand is dropping. And the order banks are STILL open....fascinating....
And capacity has increased with the longer model year run (13 months) and third shift added at the plant.Demand is dropping.
One week from ordered to scheduled! That's amazing!
I feel the same way. Whisky Tango Foxtrot FORD.I know why it's happening, but seeing people who ordered last week getting scheduled before my rollover really pisses me off.
If ANY other company made a small, cheap hybrid truck I would buy it today.
I thought the same thing! Had an order in at a dealership since September of 22. They have been inattentive at best. So i decided to hedge my bets and order a truck at another dealer the same time I confirmed my rollover at the first dealer. The NEW order I placed in July of this year has been scheduled for production while my rollover order dies on the vine. Sadly I wonโt get price protection (wish they wouldโve extended that plan to the INDIVIDUAL instead of the dealer because the dealers can be sketchy AF) so it remains to be seen that I will actually be able to afford it.I feel the same way.
