Wow it’s been almost a full year since my order, not to mention the months wait for the order window to open.
Now strike might delay delivery.
It was built 9/6. It was shipped 9/8. Estimated delivery 9/18 thru 10/2. Strike deadline this coming week Thursday 9/14.

I am in the same boat (or should I say train?). Delivery est. 9/22-10/5. Don't see how strike would directly affect our orders.

Teamsters aren't the UAW.
Yep, how would a potential UAW strike affect vehicles already in transit? Short answer is it won't.

But would they honor the strike not cross the line. I hope delivery is made and my order is finally complete but time will tell. Maybe no strike at all with ford

In transit and in production ok as well. Add to that UAW parts in storage and in the pipe I expect all of September builds are good.
As slow as rail deliveries are there is probably 3 weeks worth of parts in transit. Not good news for November though if they pick Ford, don't settle, don't extend two or three times.

Once your truck is built and shipped, a UAW strike can't affect delivery. The auto workers are done with it. Stop worrying.

I hope mine is on the same train: Build Date 9-6-23 . I don't have confirmation of shipment yet though. I'm less worried about the UAW strike( it won't affect delivery) and more concerned about the weather interfering or a train derailment. lol

UAW strike shouldn't affect delivery at all, and I doubt rail workers who are in a different union would risk their jobs by doing some show of solidarity with the UAW and walking off their job.

What I'm wondering is if the UAW strike would affect Maverick production at all? They are manufactured in Mexico, but are any of the parts made by UAW shops in the US or Canada? Some say the 2.0L Ecoboost is made in Spain, others say Cleveland, OH. The transmission is US made but is it made in a Ford plant? Or a third party supplier?

Union members won't cross a picket line of another unions strike, but they will continue to do their work outside of that line. So if they have your truck they will deliver it.

Railroads have their own union. As do the truck drivers, if they are in one. Mexico plant isn't UAW. A strike, should it happen, would be detrimental to production due to parts coming from UAW plants, but I doubt anything already built will be affected.

Keep in mind that Ford and the UAW have a history of coming to terms fairly quickly.
