15000 miles and the continental tires are almost bald. I am 70 and not a hotrod with a heavy foot. 15K and need to be replaced WTF?
So, you're a senior race car driver 🤔

Like I said in other posts, they are an inferior tire in the Continental tire line up. Continental does make great tires (just not these) There is another post on MTC forum stating that the factory tires only have 8/32 of tread, where retail tires have 11/32 of tread.
I made the analogy of: When you buy a new printer, it comes with a "Starter cartridge" only designed to print 100-150 pages. Then you have to purchase a Real Cartridge capable of printing 1000+ pages.
I took my stock tires & wheels off at 36 miles and replaced them with real tires.

There was a 30K review posted here recently, with the original tires. I think he said he might get another 5K on them. He did quite a bit of off-road driving, too.

Softest/thinnest tire I've ever had on a vehicle. They were cut to pieces in 3,000 miles. I do live on a maintained dirt road and the truck was driven on the dirt road 3miles/day 4 days a week.

They built a bicycle tire for our trucks.

I've had very good success with continentals overall, but there have been multiple reports of the stock contis on the mav wearing out early.

Good point, rotating tires is a must every 5-6000. How would the tires on the rear go bald with front wheel drive. Please show us a picture. Thanks

Yep, they are shi//y tires but I towed on them to Maine and back, about 6K miles, am pricing Michelin tires but hope to get another 5K out of them, just turned 14K miles so it's confirmed they're not great tires.

Not certain (means not confirmed nor denied in my mind) about the "starter tire" analogy, but if the tires are worn, they are worn, and this is a great opportunity to replace them with something better.

I've been driving Ford Flex, many of them, since they were introduced. In one incarnation, they put on these crappy Hankook Optimo tires which I felt handled poorly. Not that I'm driving like Mario Andretti in a Ford Flex, but they just didn't feel right. So, after about a year of grumbling I took advantage of a Costco sale, got a set of Michelins and wow what a difference. Sold the Hankooks for $175 the set.

So, view this as an opportunity to get a better and safer tire! (tires with little tread remaining not so safe...)

My better half has got 24,000+ miles on her 2022 Mav XLT Continentals. Very careful with tire pressures and run the rear tires a bit soft (32 psi) to account for the empty bed and empty rear seats. Even though these tires start at about 9/32's tread depth, it looks like she will easily get 30,000 miles from hers.
If your tires wore out fast they were probably over or under inflated or your alignment is bad.
These tires have done the intended job: Minimal road noise with light weight to maximize fuel efficiency. These are definitely not off road tires.

Replaced mine at about 400 miles because one of 'em took a screw supposedly too close to the sidewall to repair, and I swear if it were a tire of any worth that thing wouldn't have even penetrated, it was a short screw. Hated spending the money on a new set of tires on a NEW truck, but I don't think there's much argument that the stock tires are crap. Walmart sells them for around $100 each, which tells you everything you need to know about their quality. Shame on Ford for cutting that particular corner, though I don't think that's particularly unique to Ford.
