Lowering your Maverick

I have a 2023 XLT Hybrid. Has anyone used Eibach lowering springs and have zero problems? Do I need the alignment bolts with the lowering kit? I’m hearing some stories on here of noises after having the kit installed. Anybody have everything go smooth?
No noises/clunking? Any positive results? Thanks fellow Maverick owners! Stoked on my new ride!

That was the first generation of front springs. The ones that come in the kit now don’t have the minor noise problem. Your alignment shop should have the 14mm camber bolts in stock when you take it for alignment.

I had my Eibach springs installed 1 week ago, using the Eibach camber bolts. I printed out a little snippet from the forums with pics of the bump stop locations, just to make sure there was no confusion.

The installer said he had to align it 3x and that the oem camber bolts would have made aligning it almost impossible.

No noises at all.

I've had Eibach lowering springs on my Nissan Juke for literally a decade and they have been completely issue-free.

Mine is AWD but I has the first gen Eibach's and they made the noise. Now have the new revised ones and no noises. Super happy now. Mine aligned within the spec range with no camber bolts. Sure there is some camber in the rear but it's not bad enough I would spend big money for camber arms or anything. I will just change tires sooner than most people.

The Eibach kit includes the instructions in the box, so the info about trimming is there, but I've seen enough "I can't find the bumpstops" posts and people needing to do it twice after clarification. I went the safe route and made it easy for my installer.

What about longer sway bar links? I saw somewhere that lover sway bar links are needed.

I guess it would make bed access easier.

I would say mostly aesthetics but you do get better handling, lower center of gravity.

The most notable thing is obviously aesthetics and improves handling, but I did notice a slight mileage increase (which is not enough to justify doing just for this).

If you have the old springs you will have a rubber/plastic isolator around the coils in the middle, where as the new revised springs don't have that.
