That was the first generation of front springs. The ones that come in the kit now don’t have the minor noise problem. Your alignment shop should have the 14mm camber bolts in stock when you take it for alignment.
Eibach springs, 20x9 275/45/20, 15mm wheel spacers in the rear only. Rubs every once in a while on the cab pinch weld while turning. Some bad ass looking trucks in here…
Long Live MINI TRUCKIN!!!!
Auto nation Chevrolet arowhead in Peoria Arizona. Advertised deal on 4 cylinder Chevy 1500 back in March. Like $12500 rebate of msrp. I’ve known him for 35 years and feel fairly comfortable with his
Im not even looking for another vehicle to replace the 2024 maverick I didn’t order. I was...
I had an appointment to order a new one to add to the fleet.
I canceled my appointment after I seen the new pricing. It’s now a $30k truck for an xl hybrid by the time you drive off the lot.
I can be a cash buyer but I’m sure interest rates have gone up significantly in the past year as well...
I’ve seen this to throughout my Life. I believe it’s from the banding on a stack of new unused tires for shipment and storage.
but I’ve been wrong before. Never seen a failure correlated with it other than it looks like shit.
The only thing that’s going to get the ppm down is a water softener or reverse osmosis.
Your ppm. Out of the pap is really pretty low already.
Maybe look into a spray drying agent? Might be much more effective?
I run a 275/45/20 on a 9” wheel with 35mm. After I lowered it it just barely rubs the pinch weld in some situations. I fixed the pinch weld but still Rubs the fender liner occasionally. I run the same set up in the back but with a 15mm wheel spacer. Plenty of clearance in the back.
I ordered mine this week. Said they would send them right out.
Makes me happy they stand behind their product once they found a potential problem.
I’ll report back once I get them and instal them.
I was a maverick buyer. I was not in the market for a vehicle. Especially not a new ranger.
I have a 91 ranger and a 86 f250 with lots of miles on them and I don’t think I drive 10k miles a year. I also drive my wife’s winter beater dodge Durango with over 200k. I did not need another vehicle…...
I agree. Bought mine at msrp and 2.4 apr through Ford. Waited a year for my xl, no option, hybrid.
I gave thoughts to selling at a markup but I just love this little thing.
I mean….. what could I replace it with?
i still roll around in my 1991 ranger in the snow and when I’m dirty but, I...
Did they get the key from you? Or you were still in possession of the keys?
Not judging just asking. I had one (Chevy truck) stolen that I left the key in another vehicle parked in my driveway accidentally.
