My salesman said that all their orders are put in as 10s. Mine was a June 11 order with a luxury package on a Lariat. I took off the bed liner option and the Tri fold bed cover to get it produced. Still no production date. Hope it comes through soon
I thought the bed liner was in the Lariat Lux Package. True?

I heard about this EPA approval issue too but how come some people seem to have already taken delivery (videos posted on this site)?
Aren't they all the Pre-Production/Test vehicles? If the Hybrid hasn't been OKTS or what ever it's called there CAN't be any sold. That's how I understand it.

Just received a note from the sales manager (to his team) from my dealership (Michigan) that states; "Maverick Hybrids are toing to be a long wait for getting built. They can build a gas engine much quicker. Again, let your customers know on the Hybrid that it will be over 3+ months to get one of those. You are looking into next year for sure on those."

No surprise there
Could be that they are backlogged from OUR orders. Anything being ordered going forward is why the long wait. Just a guess.

So maybe this is incorrect but when I read 40% constrained for the hybrid, this is the example that comes to mind. If, under a normal production schedule for every 100 Mavericks built, 60 are supposed to be eco and 40 are supposed to be hybrid. The 40% constrained hybrid implies to me that they are only able to build 40% of those 40 hybrids which equates to 16. Again, I may be off in my interpretation but this is how I'm thinking the 40% constraint affects all of us hybrid folks.

Good point. For example Tim Bartz said they got 6 one month, 20 another month....they have 400 orders....at that rate it will be summer before they are all delivered. Not to mention Grainger and Chapman also have several hundred ordered, and they also get a few a month.....backlogged is a good name for it I'd say.

@fordvideoguy please correct me if my numbers are wrong.

Well that's interesting - I went there but it looks like you have to have a subscription in order to check that out. I won't ask you to check mine, as you'd have thousands of requests!
But as a shortcut, your sticker hasn't changed, nor the status on the Order Tracking, but you show an estimated delivery date?
I do and I didnt need a subscription

Clearly Ford, along with all the other big companies, needs to make their own chips and control their own destiny. You can bet they are working on that, but it won't help anybody who's impatient to get their hybrid Mav now
Dude, you really have no idea what goes into making ICs. We're talking BILLIONS to set up a factory. Then once you have one, you have to keep it running 24/7 in order to pay the debt, or you lose your shirt. Auto demand, as high as it is, doesn't justify that investment so they'd have to sell to other industries for it to pay off.

Auto manufactures are never going to bring that in-house.
What they really have to do is find hedging strategies; buy capacity in advance. This costs money and reduces margins, but shutting production for lack of critical commodities is even more expensive.

Thanks, I figured it out with a little help from friends.

Two years ago I would have NEVER considered a Hybrid. And I will NOT consider an EV until you can get 500 miles per charge.

A friend purchased the Toyota Avalon Hybrid and talked me into getting one as well. I couldn't believe the performance and efficiency. I just upgraded to the Lexus ES300h hybrid in May this year. I had an EcoBoost (EB) F150 and considered getting the Maverick EB UNTIL I saw they were offering it as a Hybrid. So much for the EB thoughts. I just need to get Scheduled now. This is crazy.
Rav4 Prime plug in hybrid. Unbelieaveably fast smooth and efficient. I don't gas up in a normal month, maybe 4 fillups in a year.

Billions ain't nuthin', dude yourself, at the rate Ford pumps out 150s alone, having thousands of them sitting around. And they could be supplying to all the other car makers...
Whatever you think about Musk, he isn't afraid to bet the farm on controlling his supply chain from start to finish, and he's the richest guy in the world.

I don't think that's the implication. It's 40% of all Mavs. Individual shortages of certain components is a different constraint. But Tim would know and could clarify if you want to jump in on his Q&As.
