You are in for a world of hurt if you think 6 months.
There are still people who don't have their 2022 hybrid.
It isn’t going to hurt. Considering the way things are, I’m ok waiting.
P/S Stay positive!

Remember when Ford created, owned and ran rubber tree plantations in South America (Fordlandia) and forged their own steel in River Rouge MI?
Now a bunch of college graduate kids can't source simple items like rubber mud flaps or a chunk of steel hitch?
Or floor mats - wow, floor mats?
It's not the items it's the time it takes to install them on the line or after it rolls off the line. It's cheaper to get the flaps or mats afterwards so why would someone pay more to have those done at the factory?

Will Ford really not build your Maverick if they don't have the mud flaps you ordered?

Yes. Although there is an estimated 5 percent but 12 percent of orders still have them, some will get them but most won't especially if the build has other constraints.

I can't remember the constraints reports from a year ago. Will they keep coming out until order banks close? Until '24 production starts? Asking to see if the unscheduled Retail number will keep showing each week for '23s then convert over to the '24s unscheduled Retails.

They will not. That is why they publish this constraint list. They will not arbitrarily change your order.
