In my case since were in Texas may just have them ship it. Took delivery of my wifes new car in January, Outlander PHEV was shipped from Minnesota to TX.Got my order in with @Granger Ford! This is will be my second purchase through them as I enjoyed the previous experience. It's worth the drive to go pick up the vehicle.
Are you saying the $1000 off is only for 2.0L orders ? Or you may only open orders for 2.0L.

Agreed 100%. I live in Des Moines and this was my first purchase with them. Couldn't have been an easier or less stressful purchase. I'll always buy from them moving forward.

Just fly in and drive it back. They will pick you up at the airport and have you on your way south less than an hour from getting your checked bag. there was 2 other Texans in our pickup van. We also drove to Texas afterwards, however we decided to head north to the headwaters of the Mississippi and follow it down to the gulf before going down to McAllen. Nice 4 day drive that we stretched into 5 days.
We just did that for a preowned motorhome we purchased. Flew up to Ohio in June then slowly made the 1300 mile trip home after visiting a few sites in Ohio, Kenturcky, Tennesee and Arkansas.
