Still no.They haven't sold a vertical version in years. Other models with a factory wireless keypad option use the same horizontal unit. Ford isn't about to add a new product........it's common sense so I do know it.
So you're saying that they removed the wired keypad to standardize the doors between XL, XLT and Lariat but they're going to design and acquire production for a vertical keypad from a supplier, which costs money btw to negate some of their savings by standardizing the doors. Like I said, it's common sense that they're just going to offer the same painted wireless keypad that is available on the 6g Bronco.Still no.
They could have stock looking vertical ones made quickly and easily. Lets wait and see.

I'd love to wager that if I'm correct you leave these forums and never return but even if I did win you'd never leave.Still no.
So the dealer will have to paint the keypad to match the body color? Or will they make keypads with every available body color to make dealer installs quicker? So you're saying that they removed the wired keypad to standardize the doors between XL, XLT and Lariat but they're going to design and acquire production for a vertical keypad from a supplier, which costs money btw to negate some of their savings by standardizing the doors. I'm assuming that based on the significantly higher price point as opposed to the regular keypad it'll be painted but who knows, Ford could just be padding in extra money for dealer install on the black horizontal keypad which the last I looked Ford was only charging 20 bucks or so to install.. It literally takes a technician about 5 minutes to install, 10 if they take a coffee or smoke break. If it is the black horizontal keypad it would be a horribly expensive option considering you can purchase the same thing through Ford accessories using your Fordpass rewards points or just pay the $110 minus the 20% off deal they always seem to run. It's a smart move by Ford to standardize their doors as I think it will save them a good amount of money but they should have anticipated the negative feedback and offered a factory painted option like the 6g bronco. I suspect they are trying to streamline their assembly line process as much as possible as well as their parts catalog. Now they only have two different types of rear window to source as opposed to three before and only one type of door to deal with on the production line, standard across all models. They are clearly looking to squeeze a lot more profit per maverick. So the dealer will have to paint the keypad to match the body color? No word on that, sorry. What about 400 watt inverter (In console) without purchasing lux pkg ?????
Previously was an a la carte option.
They really think this 250? 🥲 @fordvideoguy what do you think this worth ?So you're saying that they removed the wired keypad to standardize the doors between XL, XLT and Lariat but they're going to design and acquire production for a vertical keypad from a supplier, which costs money btw to negate some of their savings by standardizing the doors. You're not even talking about the same thing unfortunately, that is a wired keypad and yes, it is vertical. The wireless vertical keypad hasn't been available for years. Just a horizontal version.Standard on 2022

That as a factory option on a Bronco is $115 I believe, color matched and stick on.They really think this 250? 🥲 @fordvideoguy what do you think this worth ?
Oh …. Hmm wild . It was free so …. I don’t think I’m paying 250 for that though the wireless one .You're not even talking about the same thing unfortunately, that is a wired keypad and yes, it is vertical. The wireless vertical keypad hasn't been available for years. Just a horizontal version.
