Its probably already too late. Lots of dealers already ahead of Monday morning orders... google speach is full of these.

We are now taking PRE-ORDERS for the 2024 FORD MAVERICK!! Get to the head of the line by having your build ready. Pick from any of the pre-order packages. Based on customer demand, we anticipate that Ford will get hundreds of thousands of orders and the vehicle will be sold out within a few days. NOTE: The price shown is based on 2023 models. We expect a price increase for 2024.

1) Pre orders mean nothing, they cant put any of those preorders in until Monday anyways.
2) When you place your order is also mostly meaningless, especially since Ford is doing the prioritizing this go around. Once the order banks close and production starts they look at the entire pool of orders to find out what they can build, not pick a choosing the earliest orders.

You all still have a couple months before they even start building the MY24s, everyone has just as much a shot at a build as the next guy.

Would it make sense to give dealers their allocations *before* order banks open so that they just take orders that match the number they'll realistically receive, plus may 10% more in case?
According to Tim, dealers got that information last week. Ford even told them how many of each trim.
Yes all the dealer's have gotten their estimated allocations for the entire MY24 production.

When talking to my dealer about my unscheduled MY23 Maverick XLT Hybrid he told me that they still had 44 unscheduled MY23 Maverick XLT Hybrids but only 33 allocations for the entire MY24 production.

He said they had a few allocations left for MY23 and luckily mine got a scheduled build week of 9/4/23 so I won't have to sweat it that I could have been one of the unluckly 11 (now 10) that would not get a MY23 or a MY24.

Winner winner chicken dinner. Listen to the latest video from Tim Bartz about the changes for MY2024 and he made the comment about the order banks being open for only a few days. I think they will be open for at least a couple of weeks as the price increases and the hybrid being an option will slow the demand. What say you!
More like 3 days.

The 2023 Maverick order books opened on September 15th and closed on the 20th for Hybrids and the 21st for Ecoboost models. It' still amazes me that they had to close orders down in less than a week. I don't really have a prediction other than I do think orders will be open at least longer than they were last September.

Agree. Despite all the complaints about increases, my Lariat Hybrid MSRP order for 2024 is actually only $1380 more than the 2023 MSRP order. I paid extra for Alto Blue in 2023, but 2024 gave me free SIBL, so that's a $495 wash.

That isn't even 4% increase...not enough to deter that many folks looking for the higher level trims.

Yeah I ordered the basic Lariat MY 23 so for me it’s quite an increase for the MY24 version of Lariat but for those that ordered Luxury package last year, not much different at all. Still a decent buy for what you’re getting.

I absolutely love my Alto Blue Lariat Lux with BAP. Ordered the same in Carbonized Grey with BAP this time. I'm not sure what the final plan will be, but better to have an order in the works than crash this one and be out of luck.
I jokingly told my wife that maybe it wouldn't get built and I could benefit from a Private Offer next year on a 2025 AWD Hybrid that is flat-towable...and maybe Ford could team with Mazda and get a better sense of color, like offering a Soul Crystal Red Maverick.

You sir are a man of good taste in vehicles and their color. That Carbonized Gray is a great color and will look really nice with BAP. My Alto Blue Mav with BAP is getting close and as you know I love Mazdas! Living in Wyoming I sure see why you would like that AWD.
