I would say that if you want a 2024 Mavrick you would have to get your order in one the first day. If you wait till AM, the second day it will be too late.
I agree with you Don. LM announced they are not taking any new orders because their rollovers already exceed their 2024MY allocation. My bet is most other dealers have too may unbuilt orders so much of next year's capacity is already taken.

If Ford's server crashes with everyone trying to input, that will buy more time.

The carry-overs should have a 2 day head start. I mean why the hell not?

OR

All carry-overs get single digit priority codes. Everyone else. 10+.

Does anyone know why Ford doesn't just increase production of the vehicle? Clearly there is insatiable demand.

The small truck space is a huge hit and Ford should be building another factory to produce them.

They could reasonably double production and sell every single one of the hybrids. Even if they added another $2k to the price (over and above the 2024 prices).

They have increased production (adding a 3rd shift). They are literally building them as fast as they can, they are still supply constrained

“Building another factory” is a 5-7 year processes, they don’t just pop up overnight.

Since Ford is the one grabbing carryovers and prioritizing the builds themselves, priority codes and early order windows don’t matter.

If your MY24 order is a MY23 carryover, Ford says they will build those first regardless of what your dealer does.

The after market is getting more "reasonable" in the Seattle area... Last month, the hybrids were going for 15k over MSRP... had the same dealer call me tonight. They had a reduction.. it is now only 11k on the hybrid. Thankful I got a build date of Aug 2......

Would it make sense to give dealers their allocations *before* order banks open so that they just take orders that match the number they'll realistically receive, plus may 10% more in case?
That makes too much sense

That looks like a Hawker not a 340 in that pic

Winner winner chicken dinner. Listen to the latest video from Tim Bartz about the changes for MY2024 and he made the comment about the order banks being open for only a few days. I think they will be open for at least a couple of weeks as the price increases and the hybrid being an option will slow the demand. What say you!
Went through the same thing last year in August or Sept. I think they were supposed to be open for 2 or 3 weeks and they shut down early because of all the orders. I tried to add some things to my XLT but they wouldn't let me so I ordered a loaded Lariat out of frustration. Waited 14 months for the Lariat and 6 months for the Lariat. Yeah, weird.

My ‘22 order in Nov ‘21 carried over and was always a 10.

Okay. And how about how long will it be before I get my truck?
