2023 order bank and order guides will be available Aug 2

I just got off of the phone with Ford Customer Service and the gentlemen informed me that he received an email this morning confirming that the 2023 Hybrid and EcoBoost model ordering banks will open on August 2nd and order guides will be sent to dealerships on August 2nd as well. They won't update the websites build and price tool with the 2023 maverick until October. I'm getting excited!!

October for a build & price web page??? If they've already got the order guides out at the beginning of August and taking orders, what's the point on waiting 2-3 months to make the build & price live?

They might have to close the order banks before they get the build & price page up.

Couple possible reasons on the delay for build and price.
1. No major changes, so not a priority.
2. Reduce some of the up front orders and spread it out.
3. Need to flush out bugs don't want to rush it and crash or be wrong.
4. Need to take the current page down and don't want to do that right as the ordering is starting.

Glad the order guide will be available. Guess we do it the old fashion way.

Dealer just told me today to reserve on ford.com then go see them even though I explained it takes ford.com days to update build&price.

I forwarded Tim's video announcing that the order banks were pushed to September some time to my dealer. (No matter the rumors about Sept15, Tim makes a point of mentioning that the actual date in September wasn't mentioned to him from his Ford contact.) My dealer hadn't heard about the delay so I left it with him that I'll be seeing him on Tuesday Aug2 (tomorrow) unless he contacts me otherwise. I guess I'll find out what is up sometime by tomorrow.
