HOLY **** I GOT MY EMAIL!!!! 🤯🤯🤯

-Received 4/13 at 4:50 EST
-Scheduled for week of Sept 4th (so I expect it end of the month as I anticipate rail delays)
-Atlas Blue w/Navy cloth. XLT Hybrid with XLT Lux Pkg, Remote Start & Floor liners in-lieu of carpet mats.
-VIN: 3FTTW8E**********
-Philadelphia region
-Ordered 9/15/2022 @4:30 pm (moment banks opened. Sheet printed at 4:37pm
-Bergey's Ford of Lansdale, Lansdale, Pa
-Ordered X-Plan (MCA). Some may wonder how I did this, as most dealers are MSRP or more. This dealer was my long time employer (I was a 23 year sales person before I left on disability due to Crohn's Disease) so they were cool with an X-Plan order for a Maverick Hybrid for me.👍

Actually got called my my former coworker (plus handles the COVP) asking did I see the Ford email. This was about 5:30 pm yesterday. Hadn't looked at my email in an hour or so. Opened my email app and scrolled and HOLY CRAP!!!! Best news I've gotten in a while!! 👍

I anticipate the truck arriving late Sept or even early October as lots of vehicles have sat at the yards for a few weeks. 👍

You really have to keep up with this "process" yourself - it's a brave new world.
Dealers are not there to help you like it was 1960.
Actually, they are an active hinderance that you have to fight against.
You should have got a conformation email from Ford soon after ordering then every 45 days an apology we don't have a clue email from them.
Then you had to make sure you were properly entered into their COPV system about a month ago.
You have to do this all yourself.
But I can understasnd not knowing, I didn't when I started this "process".
I thought I could go to the dealer and drive away with a maverick after negotiating the price down.
I did receive the order confirmation but not directly from Ford but what Ford emailed to the dealership in which they emailed me. Not a single email after that although I did keep up to date with the dealer. I asked about me being property entered into the COPV system and they said yes I was. I actually called Ford yesterday and they called the dealership while I was on the line with them and still couldn't find anything pertaining to my order.

I did not get an email from Ford. Contacted salesperson at dealership to schedule time to order a 24. I was told I'm scheduled. Yeah!

-Week of 9/12
-XLT Hybrid, Area 51, Sunroof, 400W inverter, manual sliding rear window, trailer hitch, Co-Pilot 360, Protective Film hood/fenders, spray in bedliner w/ bed rails discount package.
VIN - 873XX
Order date 9/20/22

I was undecided about what to order for 24. XL Hybrid or XLT Hybrid either way I was going to lose out on Area 51, inverter, sliding rear window and discounted spray in bedliner.
Beyond happy to get a 23. I kept the hitch and the paint protection film and I won the lottery and got scheduled.

Like I said earlier, no order # so no Maverick. Been in constant contact at least once a month but quite more often in the last month.

I don't want to hijack the thread or anything. But did we all just get lucky as Ford tries to use up all their Alto Blue paint before the next model year? Did we the alto blue buyers just accidentally hack the system? Did I just jinx myself?

Yes!!!
Got a call from the salesman this morning telling me Maverick has been scheduled for the week of Sept. 11. Found the email from Ford hiding in my junk mail folder, it was dated 7/13/23 @ 3:02 pm.

Atlas Blue XLT Hybrid
XLT Lux
Co-Pilot 360
Power Moonroof
Remote start

I'm pretty stoked that I will probably get a 2023 Maverick, but now a dilemma. I have made a deposit and pre-order for a 2024 Maverick. I will probably keep the '24 order knowing that my order will fall behind the roll over '23 unscheduled orders. Hopefully by the time my '24 gets built the resale for the '23 will still be high enough to sell it and keep the '24 plus a few $'s. I will be setting the '23 up to tow behind my motor home so there will be some additional investment in it that will need to be recovered.

Happy, happy

My salesman and I are going to put in a 2024 order, but then will speak with his boss and get confirmation from Ford on how the dealership will treat 2024 rollovers that have a 2023 build confirm.

They have to think about how to handle 2023 Mavericks that have a VIN, vs. the risk that it is not built for whatever reason between now and October. If they cancel your 2024 order and the 2023 ends up not built, what happens?

This is what I want to know as well.

Well I am screwed!! Evidently my dealer screwed up submitting the paperwork for my Maverick that was ordered in Sept 2022. They and Ford could not find anything pertaining to what I ordered. Will have to put a complete new '24 order in if I still want a Maverick and still play this waiting game again if they have the allocations.
Dealer in Kansas? Which one?

Or - when they use up the limited supply of discontinued paints like Alto blue they have - that's it.
Same goes for the rear sliding rear window 400W inverter and keypads.
I'm a glass is 3/4 empty kind of person.
I was a glass is 1/2 empty before this Maverick debacle.

Sounds like Ford is going to cancel the 24 order so that someone else can get their rollover. Part of what Ford is doing to cut down on wasted orders that go to the dealer because someone puts in multiple orders.

Updated list from earlier that includes all the additional Scheduled Emails

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I counted all those who posted here in this thread that got scheduled.

Here is a breakdown. Some of the entries are missing the Engine Type (Hybrid/EcoBoost). I also didn't breakout the Tremor as either only one or two were listed.

By Body Type:

No XL's were scheduled
XLT's: 39
Lariat: 26

By Engine Type:

Hybrid: 49
EcoBoost: 13
Unknown: 3

Interesting mix as Hybrids were at a 75% rate, EcoBoost at 20% rate and three unknowns 5%

Scheduled for week of:

8/28: 6
9/04: 28
9/11: 19
9/18: 12

I called my dealer today and asked if he knew the 24’ order bank was opening soon? He said yes it is Monday , did I want any changes made or keep it the same? I said I wanted my deposit back cause I’m not ordering a 24’ but if for some reason it would show up as a 23’ , I want it. He said all 23’ Maverick have been scheduled. I’m moving on!!!!
