Never have used mine. My vehicles last several years have been "intelligent access" just touch door handle. No primitive buttons to push or codes to remember.
Intelligent access is lariat only on maverick. However you're unforunately missing the point. Being able to get in WITHOUT your keys is the point. Its not primitive, its practical. Sorry your memory is failing you

Really don't understand Ford eliminating popular colors and features.

I'm not seeing the moonroof anywhere either.
People keep complaining about Ford removing "Popular" Colors, but I wonder how popular they actually were. Ford knows exactly how many were ordered & built of every color offered. They also know the cost associated with each color. I think that if the color(s) any person thinks is popular and was dropped, might not have been so popular after all, as Ford is running the numbers.

If the color was truly popular, I struggle to understand why Ford would then drop it.

Then again, we're talking about Ford here. I've never been a Ford guy but since I want THIS MAVERICK, and the incredible Cluster*&#K this ordering/delivery process has been, that I wonder what kind of idiots Ford has in their Brain Trust.

Apologies in advance, I am new here, but I assume that pricing for the 2024 Ford Maverick including options won't release until the order bank opens up on the 17th?

With my Lariat, getting in just means touching the door handle (with the key in my pocket). The keypad is cute but useless to me.

Just my $0.02... for those who are worried about the lack of manual sliding rear window... just throwing it out there... couldnt you possibly just call up glass repair shop guys and have them replace it with the manual rear window for a couple hundred bucks from an XLT? If its that much of a need and its not a stand alone option anymore. I would assume its literally a swap, as I dont see how the window size/shape is any different on all 3 trims.
Or, you could order the Part (replacement window with the slider) from Ford, and have it installed.

I've heard that's close to $1,000 to do after.
then there's the potential purchase from a Scrapyard Wreck if the Rear window with slider is still intact. As more and more are on the road, this actually becomes a potential solution.

I also have a Lariat, but is so useful when I'm at the beach or playing sport. I don't want to be carrying keys so I leave them in the vehicle. So useful!

Area 51 gone so that is a fact of a popular color—perhaps the most popular—being abandoned. They replaced it with a similar color that is a $1K up charge. Pure profit play. Not everyone wants a metallic color which was part of the attraction of Area 51.

I'm having trouble understanding the interior color options. Were there any changes to the limitations offered in 2023? The Lariat trim came standard with the Desert Brown and only had Black Onyx as an option with the BAP. Has this changed at all? Would love to not have to get the BAP just to get a non-two-tone interior.

No one's yet mentioned the deletion of the Windshield Wiper De-Icer from both of the 2024 Luxury packages. I was considering upgrading to an XLT Lux for '24 to get the heated seats, mirrors, steering wheel, and windshield wiper de-icer, but the $1500 upcharge just for the hybrid powertrain killed that dream. Still I'm blessed to already be driving a '23 XL Hybrid with a Tow Hitch.

No change that I see.

Surprised nobody is complaining about them still offering Sync3.
Allright, given the opportunity, I will.

Sync3 is a piece of Hot Garbage in 2023. Ford should be embarrassed for still offering it. There is no way that they can keep it and that comically tiny screen for 2025. Aside from not getting AWD on my Hybrid, it's my 2nd highest disappointment.

what happened to the heated steering wheel I don't see it did they take it out?
It is still there, in the Lariat, on Page 10 of the guide.
