If I'm reading that correctly they're removing the Keyless keypad on all trims? I love that feature, I've had it on different Ford vehicles since the early 1990's. After not having a Ford vehicle for over a decade I was happy to have it back when I got my Maverick.

Also where it says Remote Start is no longer a stand alone option does that mean it's now bundled again with the XLT and Lariat Luxury packages? That's how it was on the 2022 models.

Looks like the manual window is removed. Wonder if the powered one sticks around.

Keypad removal is huge. I love that feature on the Escape and non-Ford drivers are frequently envious of it. If it is not an option on the Lariat, that is disappointing.

Otherwise, it looks mostly like Ford is making their options a little tighter (adding Lux to Lariat standard, etc.) and removing the items people ignored anyway.

I noticed that the Luxury Package is now a requirement to get the BAP on the XLT trim level.

Drivers keypad too.
Get less pay more, par for the course.
Ford had two separate parts for XL and XLT/Lariat doors. Now they can just consolidate to the "XL" type doors which are I'm sure a lot cheaper since they will not have a cutout in the door frame pillar and they can reduce their part catalog and have a cheaper price point for a higher quantity of items. At least people will still be able to use the wireless keypad which works well even if it does look a little frumpy but it's what they use on all 6G Bronco models although theirs are at least painted body color. Ford is looking to eek out more profit per Maverick and I think they're hoping for a lot more Lariat orders.

Back to ActiveX steering wheels again.

No Terrain for the XL, but they can option Hot Pepper Red for additional cost (yet not Azure Grey)

How do we know there's no Terrain for the XL?

FWIW, Lariat seems a more complete trim now. Bummer it is missing the keypad, but Lariat is back to what Lariat should have been for MY23.

Yeah, keypad removal really stinks. It was one of my "must-have" features and honestly swayed me to a Ford from other brands.

It's super valuable if you're going to be outside in nature all day and don't want to bring your keys with your. Throw the keys in the glove box, lock the doors and boom you're good to go.

On the XLT (perhaps on other trims as well), FX4 package now also apparently requires the 4K Tow package.
