Now this is truck stuffWell when towing a deere 1025r tlb it has 70lb wheel weights with loader and back hoe its 2350lbs plus 140lbs alunium trailer was hard to find a trailer that wouldn't go over the max capacity and still haul the tractor or the trailer would be over capacity to do it. Basicly the most expensive option was the combo that kept it 250lbs under the max payload. It struggled on steep hills cutting power and going on the highway at was a little dicey ended up just going a little slower and it was fine. The brakes on the trailer worked good but at freeway speeds with wind you have to slow down a bit

That double axle trailer is only 140lbs!?!? What’s the make/model because I’d be interested in something like that. It’s crazy to think 140lbs of aluminum can support that much weight!Well when towing a deere 1025r tlb it has 70lb wheel weights with loader and back hoe its 2350lbs plus 140lbs alunium trailer was hard to find a trailer that wouldn't go over the max capacity and still haul the tractor or the trailer would be over capacity to do it. Yeah that seems more reasonable. I imagine the axles have to be steel at a minimum. I can see the frame being aluminum but double axels have to be at least several hundred pounds I’d imagine. My 6x10 Aluma brand aluminum trailer single axle weighs in at 400lbs.

Seeing the Cummings Trailer sticker, and the BC license plate, it's probably one of these, at 1400#guessing he meant 1400lbs... this is exactly the sort of thing i wanted to see, as I am considering the possibility of eventually towing a car (2500lbs) + trailer... which means shopping for the lightest possible trailer...
