Took a trip from SF California to the Umpqua national forest in Oregon , fueled 3x, once before leaving, one before crossing to Oregon & once on the way back. Overall ride was smooth & passengers didn’t complain/ show any discomfort. MPG was consistently at 25 for the first few hours but then since we rode out early the highways were empty so we started going above the speed limit, I’m sure if we kept it at the speed limit it would’ve been near the same amount.
First pic is after the ride to the camp in Oregon & the second is when we got back to San Francisco

On my trip now, 1600 miles in our Tremor with a mid rise topper. At anything under 65 I can pull 28 to 30, but if I go over 75 I end up doing 25ish. I did get a full tank yesterday at 30 though.

I don't think 20 is that bad when you have passengers and cargo. I am hoping that I get 24 for every day driving when I get mine.

I didn’t even take that into consideration must’ve been around 700 added pounds with weight from cargo & passengers.

Our cargo weight including topper is probably 500 lbs. Today going out through Crystal Beach TX over to Galveston. I'm at 25.2 so far. Losts of stopping and going type driving. Now that the motor is broken in I have given it the beans too. The Tremor with the MX topper is super stable at 80-90 mph. Just cruises.

your mpg is going to better the OPs by wind resistance alone. your mid rise topper will cost a bit but nothing like the sail he's pushing.
wife's 2020 Escape didn't bet it's best mpg til it reached about 5K miles. enjoy your trek, I"m jealous.

Yeah, with passengers, a full load and that rooftop tent creating all kinds of drag, 20+ mpgs is not bad at all.

I average 23 mph with my lifted FX4 and oversized AT tires. My wife's Tremor is stock and she is averaging 25 mpg.

Some of the roads in Texas you can be going 75 than down to 35 and back up to 75 all within a 2 mile range.

Wow that's incredible. Honestly, that's the best thing about the Mavericks, from hybrid to tremors, you get great MPG. I am really excited to watch the aftermarket scene continue to grow so many great products out there

Not bad at all. Have an RTT on my XLT FX4 at about the same height. Loading up for a trip from San Diego to Oregon today...Will track my MPG and do a post here. I'll have about, oh, 400+ pounds in the bed with the RTT. About 300 pounds of that is hard seltzers (jk)...Looking forward to see what MPG I can get. PS Your Tremor looks totally rad!

He was averaging about 17 mpg but he was going about 90 on the openings & he has the ford performance tune & the snorkel & the next trek might be near Yosemite or somewhere south
