Curious to see who has purchased the extended warranty for their Maverick? Did you go thru dealership or somewhere else?

I’m pretty sure you have to buy the extended warranty thru a Ford dealer within the first year of ownership.I'll decide on a warranty when the factory one expires. Heck, might not even have the truck by then, anything can happen. I sure don't want to buy a warranty for someone else or if it's totaled for example.

Except those components are covered by the warranty.Got the extended warranty, if anything goes wrong with the electronics in a modern car, you'll be sorry without coverage. Just having to replace one of the front headlights covers 50% of the cost of the warranty. And people can say "LED lights are designed to last the life of the vehicle!" and yet I see people vehicles that have factory LED lights with one that is out all the time. It's usually Ford's.![]()
For 3 years, which is fine if that's all you keep it for. I'm keeping this thing for at least 5, minimum, unless it's a real junker.Except those components are covered by the warranty.
