Updated: Looks like Ford is just putting the wrong windows sticker on some of the Hybrids. The engines are still made in Mexico.
Since the beginning of Maverick production the hybrids engines have been built at Ford’s Chihuahua Engine Plant in Mexico.
Recently people have noticed the Parts Content Information page says the engines are being made in the USA.
If you recently received your Maverick Hybrid, check to see the engine manufacture parts content information or better yet, something directly on the engine. Post it along with your build date.
It would be good to know when Ford switched to US engines and how this factors into the hybrid recall.
