Restriction on the hybrid engine?

So last week I was waiting for a order number, and I called my sales person and he informed me that there was a restriction on the hybrid engine.
I was wondering if anyone knows what that means.

No new hybrid engines can be reserved until ~summer 2022.
You can still buy a 2.0 Eco-boost or if you are lucky and most probably spend some extra $ pick a hybrid from a dealer when a reservation holder no longer wants it
