Hi All,
New Maverick Lariat Hybrid owner here. I wanted quickly share my experience. I have had a day one 2022 Tremor order with a local dealer that continues to be in the ‘clean-unscheduled’ hell. As the calendar just turned to May, following the extremely helpful advice on these forums I became resigned to the fact that my tremor order is very unlikely to get fulfilled so started to expand my net with ‘feelers’ to other dealers in the area if any stock units available (prefer hybrid now) or more likely an order is cancelled.

Well, after being ‘offered’ one or two at $5000 and $12,500(!) over msrp on an eco and a hybrid, respectively, I wasn’t sure this was the best idea either. Then, Wednesday night, I got a call from Ciocca Ford in Souderton PA that they had a new Hybrid Lariat in Area51 with BAP, Lux and 360+ that someone declined. They would sell it to me at msrp. Basically, pretty loaded, however only about $1,000 more than my Tremor XLT msrp. I wasn’t sure A51 was the right color for me so I declined. I thought about the error of my ways the next morning and immediately reached out to see it Thursday morning. Unfortunately, someone deposited on it. Damn
or so I thought. Two hours later I got a text that the other buyer’s financing fell through and it was mine if I wanted it. I asked if they would honor x-plan. They said yes and I immediately deposited. Picked her up last night and no games whatsoever with pricing. Averaged 42.2 on the 37 miles homes and am not regretting it for a second. Will get pics up soon, but imho A51 looks great with the BAP and I mostly like the understated interior vs exterior. I have a few things planned: need to add SIBL and thinking the Bak roll up cover but have time do all that.

Long story, short, to those of you waiting, hang in there and if you are flexible enough on specs, put feelers out to dealers for deals that fall through and to be added to a wait list. Problem is most places mark them up. Ciocca Ford of Souderton (PA) did not - great experience. Thanks to Jonathan Cotton (sales person), Juan (sales manager), and Tony and Ben in finance for being honest and direct. They even had two other mavs (atlas and carbonized grey) in stock with BAP but were awaiting delivery. Maybe one of you could get lucky too.

Happy Friday to all from Chris and Bluey (I know, unoriginal name but my daughters liked it).

I ordered my 2023 XLT Hybrid from Brandon Ford in Brandon, FL. Sam Alami was my salesman. It was ordered in Sept 22 and I picked it up in April 2023. They accepted my X-Plan and there were no additional fees or markups. It was a smooth buying experience. They do have a $1200 dealer fee but the X-plan took care of that.

Louisiana/Gulf Coast Customers,
Terrebonne Ford is great to work with. I have purchased numerous vehicles from John Jaccuzo.
This is a stand-up dealership. The Maverick process was easy and I purchased at MSRP.

FYI, approximately 1 year ago AllStar Ford in Denham Springs had a new 2022 loaded FX4 that I was going to purchase, and they confirmed MSRP and when I got there to purchase, they added a $5,000 market adjustment fee so I declined.
I did report to Ford

I want to add Marcotte Ford (We've Got Your Back) in Holyoke, MA. The experience was with no headaches.

Hertrich Ford Elkton MD. Took my order in Nov 2021 with no deposit, changed it multiple times, helped me reorder Sept 2022, gave me priority 10, more changes, finally delivered 4-29-23 at MSPR with no nonsense. They gave me buyers protection and private offer discounts. (i did have to ask for them) Unfortunetely, i had to let my daughter have it because i bought something else and she needed it more. It makes me happy and a little sad every time I see it in the driveway.

Sil-Terhar in Broomfield Colorado was excellent to deal with. Honest, honored my x plan, wasn't high pressure about any of the dealer add ons if you don't want them. If your in Colorado highly recommend them for your Maverick or Bronco or whatever! They sell a lot of vehicles so my wait for a 2023 2.0T Maverick lariat loaded with everything but sun roof was 8 months.

Kendall Ford of Kenai did a fantastic job from placing my order all the way through to delivery. The staff were knowledgeable, experienced, kind, and above all honest.

They sell customer-ordered Mavericks at MSRP and honored price protection, Farm Bureau $500 rebate, and gave me a fair price on the trade-in.

I enthusiastically recommend this dealership here in Alaska.
Ask for Dave Bartelmay in the sales department.

In fact, I took delivery just yesterday, and this photo is from my trip home (yes that's snow you see).

I feel like I won the unicorn lottery with my XL Hybrid . . . which even came with a Tow Hitch :)

Metro Atlanta buyers: An overall great experience with Lithia Springs Ford on the west side. Ordering in September was painless. No Deposit, they followed through with COVP, honored A-plan with no arguments. They removed most of their profit making Dealer Add-ons from the start, sent me with a dealer signed Order Form that had everything on it. They made the correct changes when I decided to add SIBL and cargo management rails. Salesman contacted me when he saw I was shipped and texted me before it was unloaded when he saw it on the convoy truck.
No hard upsells on warranty, etc. They honored price protection and accepted outside financing. They probably didn't make squat on this deal from me. They include some lifetime powertrain warranty, but I'm sure there are all sorts of loopholes in that. I'll read through the fine print...

Anderson Auto Group in Lincoln, NE had a 2024 preorder from me for months. Terry McWilliams, my sales associate, kept watch for any declined orders that came close to my order and Friday he gave me a call. Three hours later I drove off in my new Lariat. Great price on the truck and my trade-in, FB rebate, discount on SIBL and great follow up on Ford Pass and new accessories.
